the developer doesn’t get to understand why those decisions were made. There are pros and cons to this, but I’d rather manually walk through the problem with copilot than have the LLM make decisions for me that I regret. 2/2

I’m having the toughest time picking a desktop framework to use for a trading app I want to build. I want it to be cross platform (mobile, web too), performant, and have access to great graphing libs. The best ones I’ve found are on .NET, but I’m looking at rust too. Anyone have recommendations?

Well the market just flew upwards because Trump just announced a 90 day pause on tariffs for all countries besides China. This might end up being a man made “v shape recovery”. I wonder how many of his billionaire buddies knew he was going to do this.

They’re not that different, but I do like what OpenAI decided to instead of using websockets, which was server sent events. Under the hood, SSE does work similar to websockets, but disabling writes keeps your REST api relevant and you reserve real time data for incoming events.
