Really fond of the colors of this piece :3 #ocsky #oc #art #digitalart

My oc Gael in flames, crying, with the words "IN ANOTHER UNIVERSE I AM EASIER TO LOVE" This piece was a vent as a lot of Gael's lore is an allegory for my own life, it's difficult feeling like the trauma that I fell victim to has made me a more difficult person and partner, someone who's hurt others because of my scarring. I hope theres another me out there somewhere who doesn't share this feeling

He who lives by the sword dies by the sword #ocsky #oc #digitalart #art

A bust of my oc Eònan holding a sword, staring off screen absent mindedly. This piece is inspired by the saying "he who lives by the sword dies by the sword" which means he who lives by violence dies by violence. In Eònan's case this is in the sense that those who live and die by violence are oftentimes not the ones who started it. The concept of a pawn.

Love Me Entirely Slay the princess has been on my mind a lot recently, it's such a beautiful piece of media [ #art #stp #slaytheprincess #digitalart ]

A bird-like creature cradles an anatomical heart between its arms, the piece is set up in a false frame intending to make it look pinned up or displayed (reminiscent of pinned butterflies) bits of text litter the piece "tell me how I look inside" "butcher me" "cut me open" "love me"

Feeling... rough. Lately.

Panel 1:
"I make art for a living."
Drawing character art on a tablet

Panel 2:
"It feels... Questionable right now."
Drawing interrupted by a news alert

Panel 3:
"So much horror and pain all around us... And it feels like it's getting worse every day."
Cait staring at her tablet while news alerts ping loudly

Panel 1:
"What the hell am I doing."
Cait takes off her glasses and rubs her eyes, the news alerts are louder and more frightening

Panel 2:
"I'm drawing pretty pictures while the world is on fire. While families are torn apart. While war and genocide become daily news. While my country is held hostage by bigots who want me and the people I love to die."
Cait holds her head in her hands, overwhelmed by pinging alerts

Panel 1:
"But I can't think that way. ...not every day, at least..."
Cait balls her fists, grimacing with tears on her face

Panel 2:
"I love what I do. And I work in entertainment - providing beauty and escapism for my audience."
She puts her glasses back on and picks up her tablet pen, sniffling

Panel 1:
"We need art in turbulent times. People need escape from the horrors. And if I can provide that - then I'm being helpful."
Cait starts drawing, but the pinging alerts are on the rise again.

Panel 2:
"I'm being helpful. I'm being helpful... I'm being helpful... I'm helpful... Helpful..."
She draws, trembling, as the alerts swell around her.

Symbolism piece I did of my oc Acre, the spiral is meant to look similar to the stripes of a lionfish [see alt text for more] [ #oc #originalcharacter #art #digitalart ]

The lionfish symbolism comes in 2 forms in his story, both in him being invasive, an intruder and liar on the ship he calls home, as well as his ignorance, similar to that of a lionfishes. Lionfish do not flee from threats and view themselves as untouchable due to their spines, and will even stay put after watching another lionfish be killed right infront of them. Acre shares this insane ignorance in the regard of his manipulation, he does not believe he can be caught and believes he can lie and manipulate his wat out of anything.

Annual winter raffle design for TrenchTails! Already found a home, but if you wanna be there for new raffle designs, our discord is in my links :) #art #dragonart #wingsoffire

A small blue and pale orange dragonet with fluffy fins and no wings. A little angler lure hangs from his head. Text reads "cold inside; rare trenchtail; fringed ears, textured fins, shaped pupils, antler horns, standard tail".

#2024年自分が選ぶ今年の4枚 Technically most of them were done prior but all came out this year. These are some of the projects that pushed to me the next level either in terms of rendering technique or thinking deeper how to interpret the story and deliver it as a cover
