@atrupar.com Would love it if you could (in addition to what you’ve done here) point to some credible news source providing context.

@motorcityhoops.bsky.social Idea for topic: Make the best 8 or 9 man team you can consisting of 2026 NBA players (no Pistons). Now can you create an all-time Pistons team that likely (50%+) would win in a seven game playoff series against that 2026 NBA team under today’s rules?

@kukhahil.bsky.social Idea for topic: Make the best 8 man team you can consisting of NBA players active today (no Pistons though). Now create an all-time Pistons team that you are confident would at least take that first team to seven games in a playoff series under today’s rules.

the average business traveler has never encountered an ICE agent in the flesh. if anyone in the administration had half the sense god gave a goat, they’d be desperate to keep it that way.

Rather than “violating civil rights act,” say “pushes black and brown voters into districts where their concerns and interests can be safely ignored. They can vote all they want but their votes won’t matter for deciding who wins the district.”

Absolutely bananas. And if it’s this bad for this guy—an Australian Columbia student whose sin was writing about the protests—imagine how much worse for others.

New research from MIT found that those who used ChatGPT can’t remember any of the content of their essays. Key takeaway: the product doesn’t suffer, but the process does. And when it comes to essays, the process *is* how they learn. arxiv.org/pdf/2506.088...

VERY exciting week for the 5 of us who are fascinated by how the Statutes at Large become the United States Code: the House is likely to consider (under suspension of the rules) bills to transform titles 41 and 54 of the Code into "positive law" titles.
