I was scared to read it bc I haven’t read a book over 300 pages in like a decade but I BLEW through both books it was actually insane!! his writing style and pacing is really really well done so that the reading process doesn't feel like any work at all! (imo)

I could actually cry seeing grassland love on the timeline!! I remember my advisor/PI asked us what keeps us going to continue our research and I said “because I am stubborn and I love grassland conservation and I will always be a voice for that (grasslands) which cannot fight for itself”
