Babygirl had her first holiday recital today. She did soooooo gooooood! The moments leading up to it were oddly intense. I was all jittery and shit. Haven’t been that excited about something since back when I was hoopin. This parenting thing is wild.

I spent literal decades outside chasing and being chased. Was scared of the current phase of life I’m in as a husband and a father. And g, I had it all backwards. Find you someone you don’t play about that don’t play about you, and get the fuck out the streets. It’s so much more peaceful inside.
