Missing item numerology. My St Christopher pendant fell off my necklace so I cast a numerology chart to locate it. The two main resultant figures 6 and 2, corresponding to Venus and the moon, immediately made me think of my bed(room). It was lying next to my bed, slightly hidden from view! ✨

Text in a notebook:

Where is my pendant?

The prayer of the Stoic Cleanthes: Guide me, God, and you, Fate, Whatever path you have assigned me, I am ready to follow. But if I refuse, having lost my courage, I am still bound to follow.

It was my birthday eight days ago, and Mars became ruler of my profected ascendant. Mars is natally in my 7th whole sign house and ruler of my 9th and I have recently come back from an overseas trip to Sweden with my husband. The stars, they know.

I just realised that if you put the coronation dates of Queen Elizabeth II and Charles III into numerology grids (Sepharial/Vedic style), you get the same chart.

Turns out Jupiter as my profected ascendant Lord this year coincided with my being asked to teach Religious Studies (specifically Christianity and Buddhism) alongside my normal maths teaching. It's always interesting to see how the same activated houses manifest in different ways.

Sure, the Hermetic texts are monist in its philosophy and cosmology. They are *also* polytheist, explicitly encouraging us to worship the many gods, not only because it's good to do so, but also to continue our active co-creation with the world as part of our own mystic work towards the Godhead.

Question for Muslim friends and Islamic scholars: is there a tradition of venerating early prophets/messengers with their own days on the calendar a la Catholic saint days? If so, is there one for Idris/Akhnukh, like how there is for Mawlid an-Nabi?

It boggles me how so many people don't realize that so much of what we get into as occultists is only possible due to the work of academics and researchers, not just for source material availability but the very models that underlie all the hot takes of folks who bias themselves against "academia".
