A State of Breaks has received its annual update! ~9 hours of the best breaks from the past year. Fast & slow, hard & soft, any & all genres I came across during 2025. Links to stream can be found on Lagom’s website (in bio).
A 3D render of a surreal snare drum, floating in front of a highly saturated red and orange background with the text A STATE OF BREAKS surrounding it. The snare's shell resembles molten, glowing amber, while the hardware appears to be made of blackened volcanic rock.

Copyright is a form of policing. It’s inherently rooted in censorship and surveillance. Historically, copyright accelerates consolidation of power and extracts creativity for profit. If we use copyright to fight AI, it consolidates power further. A future where everything is licensed? No thx

20 years ago we were suing teenagers for millions of dollars because they were torrenting a single Metallica album and now billionaires are demanding the free right to every work in history, so that they can re-sell it. The law only ever serves capital.

Before listening to a tape, turn it upside down and hold it under your nose. Now smell inside the shell. If you detect any unpleasant odors, send the tape back WITHOUT putting it in your deck. The tape is probably bad.
