Guitar commissioned by my Aunt Liz! This is first in a line of 5 guitars that I'm pricing to sell at $200 each. It is the only one that will have black hardware and pickguard.

Sometimes I wonder if that big-leaguing prick that I left behind 6 years ago thinks about me at all. Then I get mad about thinking about said prick. Maybe because what they said and how they acted before I left hurt me deeper than I want to admit.

Mike McFarland has passed from brain cancer. Heartbroken. I've been out of the loop and didn't know he was ill... I thoroughly enjoyed his body of work and his loss pains me...

I'm modifying my bass guitar and I decided to use a POSCA marker last night to make swirls and paisley designs on the pickguard. (Before; the fleur-de-lis etc. decal had been there for 10+ years and then I had to cut part of it off to accommodate moar electronics)

Yes, it was spoiled for me. Yes, I canceled my movie ticket It was far better than any spoiler could've dared ruin. While it sucked to cancel it, at least I was in a safe and comfy spot to cry last night for the YouTube premiere.

Nobody was more proud of you than me. Somewhere down the line, you forgot yourself and talked to me like some hanger-on. You used me for my connections. You made me a stepping stone. I hope it tanks. I hope someone puts you in your place. Won't be me, though. I'm done with you.

Also how much it is UK media attempting to infect other media with their obsession, here's the director general of RTE (who happens to be ex BBC) getting annoyed that the RTE newsroom didn't share his old employers obsession with us (from archive.ph/3A6Jv)

“I know our editorial teams, and our programme teams, and I know the challenging topics we deal with. I know the courage that the investigations teams show and our news teams show day after day,” Bakhurst said.
One topic he has looked into is coverage of transgender issues.
“I asked a few programme teams about why they hadn’t done a particular story, which was actually in the UK. Individually, two or three programme teams I spoke to said there were other stories they thought were more important on the day,” he said.
“I wanted to be sure that we were not just leaving it because it is too difficult, too delicate. It is an important current topic and there are others.

I had been avoiding playing this publicly because I didn't want to be misconstrued as being in favor of a certain hatemonger getting sent to the afterlife. Now? Fuck that. In this socio-political upheaval, I am taking my power back.

So the Minneapolis shooter didn't even ID as trans anymore. WAS IDing as a trans woman, fell in with a nazi alt-right group and detransitioned and was propagandized by them and considered their former identity a "brain washing". He used he/him pronouns in the end and was not on hormones. Look it up!

I'm fat. Nothing to be ashamed of. I am in good health aside from joint issues, allergies, and asthma. This is my lowest weight since 2020. I was 400lbs and am proud, but not because of vanity. I need my joints to be treated a bit kinder. I'm still body positive and love you all.

A better picture of the finish, perhaps! This is a reference to folk legend Woody Guthrie's famous sticker (and prior to that, writing on his guitars): "This Machine Kills Fascists" Also her name is Mystery because her prior history is unknown to me.

Latest release from Lazy Day Lutherie: She came to me with her original finish sanded off and modified to be wall art. If the finish stayed, she may have been worth money. Well now she's mine and I'm adding my own finish to her and rehab her as a playing instrument once more!
