With the cabin door closed behind them, Demona gently pulled herself away from Eddie in favor of grabbing the kitchen chair. She hadn't wanted to show it in front of Steve, but her head was starting to spin again, and closing her eyes, the blonde took a deep breath, tone far softer than it had +

As Eddie stepped out of the cabin, Demona's eyes flickered up to the door. She had seen Eddie get protective over her only a few times before, mainly when someone got too handsy with her at a concert, but this was something else entirely. It was like something off of a movie screen, and while a +

The idea of seeing Eddie always brought a larger smile to her face, and seeing the van in the driveway did the same thing. It was only when Steve commented on his driving that she glanced his way, a brow raised as she responded. "Why do you think he doesn't drive MY van anymore?" Taking a +

Demona and Steve had never really spoken much outside of the whole situation with Eddie, and while she knew that his parents were of a higher status than hers, she never knew how his relationship with them was. Clearly, it wasn't much better than hers with her own parents, and a small laugh was +

Despite how well she knows Eddie, Demona has yet to pick up on any feelings between the two men. She refuses to believe anyone can come between her and Eddie, especially after she nearly died for him, and she did kill for him. So when Steve hesitates, confusion fills her face briefly before a +

The woods were spinning. Never before had the world’s pull felt so heavy to the blonde, and Steve’s words sounded like they were coming through a busted radio. Her chest was heavy, too, but a few deep breaths with her hand on the tree and she was starting to regain control. She knew what the +

The idea that the whole group was back had Demona's heart racing in excitement. Hellfire Club was back, and more importantly, so was Corroded Coffin. But if Steve hadn't told her . . . "Dude, we gotta tell Eddie. Come on, it's not like this damn gate ever does anything, anyways." Her hands +

THAT caught her attention, and suddenly Demona sat up a little straighter. Ever since she returned to Hawkins, she had been told that Gareth and the others had fled town. Her main reason for coming back had been Eddie, yes, but that didn't mean she hadn't been looking forward to seeing the rest +

Demona knew why Eddie liked to have Steve grab them groceries. It originally had been out of necessity, but the need for it had disappeared. No, the reason Eddie still asked Steve to do something so domestic was far more simple, yet far more complicated. Yes, Eddie loved Demona. But she wasn't +

The pause may have been noticeable, but not by Demona, the blonde pulling her knees to her chest. “He has a . . . new kind of hunger these days. Usually I’m the one reaching for the snacks. Unless it’s cereal. He can’t get enough of that.”

000

Demona Lewis @lacedupmetal.bsky.social · 29/12/2025

“We’re usually too busy to worry about food.” Not even thinking about how it sounded, and not even meaning it in that sense, Demona grabbed another pizza roll before turning her eyes over to the gate.

That idea has her sitting up a little bit rather than just laying across the table, a smile tugging at her lips again. It was the perfect compromise, a brow lifting playfully. "Lord of The Rings again?" She was already pushing her chair out, knowing exactly how to get him moving.

One day, she was going to have to get used to hearing 'Mrs. Munson' when people referred to her, but today was not that day, her smile only growing like a child as the butterflies ran rampant in her stomach. "Just make sure that's how the writing credit is done this time."

The head pat brings a smile and a sleepy giggle from the blonde, another honey comb popped into her mouth as she curls the blanket under her chin. “How did you ever write anything without me, Mr. Munson~?”

She’s grown used to this sort of energy from Eddie the morning after, just as he should expect the lack of from her. Still, she picks up a single piece of cereal before slipping it into her mouth, eyes skimming sleepily over the page. She points at the word ‘sunlight’. “What about Daylight?”
