YouTube's mobile UI is either an embarrassing feat of design or a stroke of genuis in manipulation. I keep finding out I accidentally subscribed to YT channels without noticing because it's so easy to slip and click the subscribe button while you're scrolling posts or watching a video.

My first experience with a metroidvania has been...mixed so far. Don't get me wrong I am having fun so at the end of the day it's net positive for me. However my biggest issue so far has been the navigation. I struggle to tell if I am going where I am supposed to and often end up at (1/2)

Okay so there IS a transportation system in the game...you just don't have access to it until you reach a certain point...that point is so far that I gave up on the possibility. However you still have to WALK back to the previous station before you can use the train for it...istg whyyy

I opened Claude code for the first time in a while . Checked settings and of course found training the models on your data is on by default. I am going to start checking settings of every LLM I use because I am sure most of them are doing this. Not that consent will stop them tbh.

Was it always the case that you can't change the language of windows after installation ? I got windows 11 pre-installed and you can't change everything back to English. because of that you'll have UI menus using two languages at the same time.

Vercel opts you in by default to use your code for AI model training if you're on the free plan but not on the pro plan. Scum fuck companies know most people don't read the emails they receive about ToS updates and exploit that to have a "valid" justification. Not like "opt out" would stop them

Is it serious that I can't use the calendar app in Windows 11 unless I set up Outlook ? It's just a calendar app I don't want to connect to anything. I am trying really hard to cope with the necessity of using Windows 11 but there are decisions taken that just infurate me.
