Assets are a real bottleneck, especially when you're not 100% on what you may need. In my current project I've been putting them off a lot too. It's okay to be aimless for passion projects, we do them for the sake of creating! Doing a little everyday will get you to the end!

a lot of game trailer conventional wisdom is that logos, voice over, and text is bad practice and i think a good 5 to 10 percent of my career was built out of forcing myself to keep doing it because it's the "wrong choice"

Get that back support homie! "Gaming" chairs are often over priced, and cushioning flattens over time. I got myself a mesh chair from a nearby office store, had it for a few years now, and it's great!

Yes, I have 0 game dev experience. I know programming and data types from PLCs, but do not yet have GDscript down. I'll be creating sprites soon too! I'm getting the player script and enemy scripts made first
