I've seen folks talk about how "in four years" they'll be able to get back to their planned projects and I really don't think that's going to work out. I love my little suburb. Yesterday I started going to a massage therapist who’s been listening to me sing while I walk by her house for years. Tonight I went out to get ice cream & ran into a neighbor on the way home & just chatted on the side of the street for 20 minutes while my ice cream melted.

Found out today that my mother had pendants made out of the ashes of my childhood dog & gave them to everyone in the family as Christmas gifts this year. Everyone, that is, except myself & my father. The man who got that dog as a puppy & the child who grew up alongside that dog.

We’re suing the Trump administration to return Palestinian student activist Mahmoud Khalil to NYC.

The text on top says Trump's Attack on Palestinian Activism.. Below that, it says Khalil’s arrest marks an escalation in the Trump administration crackdown on Palestinian rights activism. The day after Mahmoud’s arrest, Secretary of State Marco Rubio linked to an article on the arrest and tweeted, “We will be revoking the visas and/or green cards of Hamas supporters in America so they can be deported.”

Self care isn’t all bubble baths BUT doing things that make you feel good in your body is definitely part of it. Like regularly getting your hair cut to keep it looking a way that makes you feel like you, or getting your nails done because it gives you gender euphoria. This has been a PSA.

A Jehovah’s Witness came to my house this morning. They parked in front of my house, made eye contact with me through the window, watched me shut the curtain, & still stood at the door while my dog screamed at them. I admire their persistence but I have not had enough coffee to be proselytized to.
