Today I tested negative for Covid so I decided to treat myself to a trip to the used bookstore. Yay books! $70 later I have 10 brand new wheel of time books, a few random old sci-fi novels and a $4 first edition PKD (a book I paid $100 for a year ago)… 😆 So girl math says all the books were free.

Hope everyone had a good Labor Day weekend. I’m working on 4 hrs of sleep but I picked up my mom from the hospital tonight (she’s okay, still dying but at a far slower than previous anticipated so that’s good) and tomorrow is my 49th birthday! Yay me. I need sleep. Maybe a massage. Definitely sleep.

My stupid refrigerator took a shit again. I’ve had it for like 6-7 years and I’ve had to take it apart twice already. Guess my day is planned for tomorrow. 😞 I inherited my grandmothers refrigerator as a teenager and it ran perfectly for 40+ years, I regret getting rid of the green monster 😂

Just repotted this guy, it was so root-bound it took some doing to get it in there. It has really cool aerial roots you can’t see right now. I have dirt packed up around the sides so as I water the dirt will work its way down into the roots because there was some gaps left from the transplant. 🥰

It’s hot here so I decided to go to the ice rink and cool off. It was super fun until I had to pee. This photo is a little misleading because it’s taken from the floor so the toilet looks taller than it is, the seat was level with the top of my skate. So awkward 😂

I was cleaning out my garage yesterday and found a box of old camcorder tapes. Lables: an underground rave from the early-mid 90’s, one says “explicit”, one is a party I threw with 25 strippers, a few Christmas tapes and one say “Tape over”… I ordered a VCR and adapter kit so damn fast 😆

Walking down my stairs and saw something hit the wall in my living room and fall on my side table. Thought my mom threw something and was confused then I hear “There’s a bird in the house!” Poor little guy knocked itself out. It’s fine and flew away after a while. Had to cancel my gym membership yesterday because of some billing issues that weren’t being resolved. Might need to sue. I’m actually pretty sad about it because I was getting amazing results and I liked it there. Now I need to find a new gym 😢
