This morning I finished “When We Were Feral” by @shastagrant.bsky.social Truly remarkable. As someone who teaches young people, with two little ones at home, it ripped my heart out in a way only a great book can. Maggie and Erin and Sarah will live with me for a long time moving forward. Masterful.

Just finished this. A beautifully brutal novel by @miriamgershow.bsky.social Her ability to find the voices of such a disparate yet connected cast is inspiring. And that final line has shades of Gatsby in its brilliance. Highly recommend to my 4 followers.
