Rewatching #Superman (2025) again and just realised that the "Justice Gang" only show up to deal with the Kaiju, which has clearly been causing trouble for a while, after the LordTech building gets damaged. I'm sure others have noticed this before, but it certainly says something about priorities.

Oh yes, absolutely love supernatural elements in horror ... but also when they get subverted (well) and the supernatural is revealed as a trick. There is an artistry to a well done jumpscare. I think we overcorrected from pointless jumpscares to no jumpscares 😔😂

What's a #Horror trope you can't get enough of? I love a small town or village. For me, it often adds plausibility to a story — there are countless villages and towns we don't know about until we hear a story. It makes the horror feel like something that may have happened in a real obscure place.

A post just to make my stance on GenAI abundantly clear. I oppose its use in all creative pursuits. I do not use it, and will not support products or authors that use it. #AuthorSky

This creator is fervently anti-GenAI. All my content is 100% organic, homegrown creativity. If your product is made with AI (that includes book covers) I will not buy or promote it.

These book covers (cover of "Beyond Dimensional Veils" and "Madness in Manhattan Mine") are GenAI. I signed a contract with this publisher before I knew that they use GenAI. It is one of my great regrets, but unfortunately I can't afford to cancel the contract. I do not endorse these covers, and would rather give away free ebooks of these books than promote these unethical business practices.
