I've been with @gameinformer.com since 2011 (with asterisks) and have been through a lot of big cover reveals and crazy issue launches, but this may have been the biggest and craziest one. @marcusstewart7.bsky.social wrote a great story and there was tons happening behind the scenes supporting it.

Kyle holds up his GTAVI Game Informer issue.

The “Healthy” button in the DoorDash app feels about as accurate and useful as the “Remember me” option on every website.

Currently working my ranking of the top games co-published by Annapurna that released on September 24 that feature male protagonists wearing mysterious hospital bracelets.

Simon Ordell with a hospital bracelet in Silent Hill: Townfall.

Dylan Faden with a hospital bracelet in Control: Resonant.

Also, I really want to see the extra jokes/funnier cut. www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...

What did you learn and apply from test screenings?

I learned that people really liked the movie, but they thought it was too funny. So over the course of my testing, I stripped out as much of the jokes as possible. I then found that not only did the audience enjoy the movie more, but I also liked the movie a lot more. A little bit of humor goes a long way in a horror movie, and there’s not a single joke I took out of this movie that I miss. So that perspective was really helpful.

My totally reasonable and undeniable argument is... it will probably never be discounted again, right?

I bet it’s called The Legend of Zelda because Zelda is the protagonist, actually. It’s her movie.

You get the bit, right? Like, I don't have to go do the rest of the video for the joke to come across, right? Okay, thanks.

Excited to see Akira in IMAX on Friday, but I am struggling to come up with what Rocky Horror Picture Show-style audience participation gimmick to instigate. Maybe I throw a bunch of loose papers in the air during this scene?

Heartbreaking. Got excited my nearby Alamo was having an advanced screening for Tony tomorrow night. Went to buy tickets and they were sold out. How could they do this to me? Don't they know I really like Matt Johnson movies like a lot?
