A cloudy rainy day in Phx on Suns media day is apropos of this offseason and the dark cloud cast by the front office. Disappointing on many levels and selfishly it’s a bummer to feel like I’m letting my ethics and morals slip by watching them when the Suns are supposed to provide relief and joy.

Dad dinner. Grilled ribeye and baked potato with the fixings and leftover takeout mac n chz and brussels sprouts. First proper fresh home cooked meal in several weeks and even got a round of squats in beforehand on the back patio.

London first day unknowingly meandered into the London Marathon. That was interesting. Then walked to see Big Ben and couldn’t find it. Map showed we’re right smack on the dot. Turned out a multi year renovation had just started covered in scaffolding hiding it.

For sure. The variety of foods from different cultures makes it’s pretty simple. I’ve never cared for most of the fake substitutes and majority are basically junk food. Ate vegetarian only for 3+ years and not doing that exclusively again but just making more plant-based only choices.

I ate plant-based / vegetarian for over 3 years from my late teens into early 20’s. Stopped for a change. A different set of reasons (see: old) has me exploring that diet again. Vegan bahn mi with tofu and curried couscous for lunch. They did not have plant-based food like this back in my day.
