BOT IS SO GOOD FOR WORLD HOPPING, anyone who world hops or has an interest in such must try it out.

Kyle @kyle2.bsky.social · 30/01/2026

It was funny hearing people say "wow, there's so much variety, even for medium..." at the last medium restricted event I went to. People really don't realize how much you can still have.

YEPPP I absolutely adore the Japanese scene for this reason. Some absolutely incredible experiences.

Kyle @kyle2.bsky.social · 30/01/2026

I love this. A thought: a daily pool of worlds the bot utilizes and creates invites for? This way, you could somewhat recapture the magic of world hopping and worlds having a lower chance of being ghost towns. Anyone who utilizes it would know there was a higher chance of other random people :o

Oh hey, the taper, that's me! Hearty lol every time I see this url, the consequence of a short lived meme convention from over a decade ago and unchangeable usernames on the LMA. The link caught a stray 'o', though, my tapes are here: archive.org/details/@lil... Still so curious about Portland 👀

I appreciate all of this. It is my biggest pet peeve how people choose to occupy the dance floor in a way that alters the space to be less conducive to enjoying the dance floor, 99% of the time it isn't a matter of disability, it's a matter of totally ignoring the music and yapping in bad spot.

Kyle @kyle2.bsky.social · 24/01/2026

It is my favorite thing when venues do this because it's more like a real space with live music. You can't hear shit close to the speakers, it's all about the music.

It's the sort of thing that can be equally magical or nightmarish, depending on where you end up. But it immediately came to mind reading your post. Hanging out, laughing, watching movies, are basically what it's all about for huge swathes there! And np, I have super particular taste-is what itis.

They weren't particularly easy to come across, like all my other experience with close friendships in life, basically came down to luck. But, I find the VR world a huge boon in providing opportunities to socialize, now. I'm so burned out after work. It has restored me. Worth considering.

I've been rather lonely for the last few years - mid 30s, typical growing distant from friends with age thing. I started utilizing VRChat for virtual raves. I was extremely antisocial for awhile, but since branching out more, have met several people I am happy to consider close friends. (1/2)

i figure it might be fun to start writing about my comp making process, so join me as i put together 10 YEARS OF THE BONE ZONE: THE BEST OF MATT DOUGLAS VOLUME 2 (this is gonna be my sistine chapel)

Text reads: 10 YEARS IN THE BONE ZONE: THE BEST OF MATT DOUGLAS VOL 2

In the letters "B" "N" "E" are pictures of matt douglas playing saxophone, keys, and electric guitar. in the letter "O" is a picture of matt clasping his hands together at his waist and living a bashful look to the camera.

there is dramatic, blue colored bolts of electricity running through the word "ZONE".

THIS VIDEO IS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL AND I AM SO GLAD IT SHOWED UP IN MY FEED. Beautiful intersection of art, history, technology, anthropology, with so much more 'show' than 'tell' illustrating how profit incentives tend to muck everything up over time. Cheers.
