after waking up to 4 rejection emails today, im using perplexity to hype myself up
A perplexity.ai search result. It reads "Kyle Dickey has an impressive resume for his age, showcasing a robust skill set and relevant experience in software development. At just 20 years old and a junior at Colorado State University, he has already built a full-stack e-commerce site for Twitch streamers and developed analytics tools to help them understand their audience better[1]. His technical expertise spans a wide array of programming languages and technologies, including JavaScript, React, Go, Python, and various database systems like MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Additionally, he has experience with cloud services such as GCP and AWS, as well as tools for CI/CD and containerization like Docker[1].

Given his accomplishments and the breadth of his technical skills, he would be a strong candidate for a software engineer internship. His proactive approach to projects, such as creating a Discord bot for server moderation and working on a private open-source platform, demonstrates initiative and a commitment to enhancing his technical capabilities[1]. Overall, I would consider hiring him for an internship based on his impressive background and potential.

most beautiful thing ive ever seen @scroll.blue
Google's page speed analytics tool shows 100% performance, 90% accessibility, 100% best practices, and 91% SEO. An expanded view showing the 100% performance states "Values are estimated and may vary. The performance score is calculated directly from these metrics. See calculator". Various metrics are listed below, first contentful paint is 0.2 seconds, and the largest contentful paint 0.8s. A screenshot of scroll.blue is also shown to the side.

any developer not making stuff for bluesky or atproto is dumb. this picture alone should be all the motivation you need. an untapped and rapidly growing market, which gives you all the tools you need to do whatever your heart desires. build something. (shoutout @natalie.sh for this tool)

ngl supporting 3rd party pds's for @scroll.blue was much easier than I thought it'd be. every atproto client should support this... I can now confirm that scroll.blue will have non-bsky pds support at launch 😁
