It's so fun!! Whenever a customer is very undecided I steer them to it😅 and when I want to practice I mix lightweight spackle with acrylic paint and do it on a canvas it feels so similar to buttercream☺️

Cake of the dayyy Vanilla cake with a fresh strawberry filling for a vow renewal🍓👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩💍🥰 The 3rd pic is how it looks from my eye level when I'm not having shrimp posture. I think I felt the same feeling as when Godzilla looks at cute buildings. #cake #baking #wedding

Two tiered cake with light teal top fading into dark teal in the middle, then back to light teal in the bottom on the top tier. There are three blue flowers sculpted with a pallet knife.

Around this time every year, I share a list of ways to support Native people. From supporting Indigenous people seeking abortion care to defending Native voting rights and keeping Native families together, here are some causes worth supporting. 🧵

Wedding cake⚘️🪻 This was my first time using a foam round for the bottom tier, and I'm not sure if I was doing it wrong, but all my buttercream kept getting absorbed inside the foam. I felt like I was Sisyphus. It took me an embarrassing amount of time and taught me how to hate. #baking #cake

White 2 tier cake with pastel pink, orange and purple flowers piped on growing from the bottom of each tier

Cake of the day🤎🍓 Flavor: marble cake w/ fresh strawberry filling & chocolate buttercream w/ vanilla buttercream accents It was my first time piping drapey lines, so a little shakey but the customer said it was perfect so I choose to believe that instead #baking #bakingsky #cake #cakedecorating

Heart shaped cake. The base being a smooth brown chocolate buttercream with white vanilla buttercream vintage piping accents.

Cake of the day🍎🌸 This is in my pinned, but here's it more in depth✨️ It's an apple butter cake w/ a pecan pie filling & based in cinnamon buttercream I entered it in a contest a couple months ago & won Best of Flavor😊 The hand took a very long time & the flowers weren't my usual but I like it❤️

Round cake displaying hand reaching to pink and white blossoms like the Creation of Adam by Michelangelo the background is a light brown

The side of the cake, the branch continues around the cake picturing blossoms and apples

I feel this so deeply. I had to leave the Black Hills and even though I love the area I'm in now, there's hardly an indigenous population. It makes me so sad that I basically have to go to a museum to see my culture.
