confirmed. they seem to be dodging the crux of the issue, and just are generally saying "we're just following protocol!" as an attempt to divert blame on the payment providers. their stance seems to be "ai can be good tho 🥺" help.ko-fi.com/hc/en-us/art...

"Why don't you ban AI content on Ko-fi?

Ko-fi exists to help creators earn a living doing what they love, and the ways people create are more varied than ever. Rather than deciding which tools are acceptable, we focus on making sure all content on Ko-fi meets copyright law and our content guidelines. These guidelines reflect requirements and standards set by our payment providers, and apply equally to everyone.

Creators use a wide range of tools across their work, from assisted features within creative software, writing and music production, to accessibility tools like auto-captioning and image descriptions. We want to support that range of creativity without making judgement about individual creative choices."

Things are looking really dire at the moment, so I plan on streaming some concentrated fundraising efforts beginning real soon. If you enjoy the kind of work I do like shaders, odd web toys, game dev, streams, etc, and would like to support me to make more of those, please consider the link below~

wip tryna make my sona design a bit more interesting.

Anthro dog character concept. He has an eye-patch looking design on his face, but instead of cloth, it's a void, with a white dot floating as a stand-in for a pupil. The eye-patch shape wraps around the head, and joins at the back, where it traces down the spine and over the top of the poofy tail.

"yeah, i don't hang around my kid cause the vibes are bad."

ya! i've never seen anything like this! what is it?

honestly, if it were me, it'd be kinda affirming to have people lose interest in me if i was to change my gender. / tadc /

deer-like behaviour

to me, certain aspects of gender expression are attractive, not necessarily the gender itself. sexuality is more complicated than "i'm not as attracted to people who present more femme," but it's alright to try to find reasoning in the chaos of the human psyche lol / tadc /

preferences are a thing, and it's totally normal to like a certain gender for a specific gender expression. and in my experience, it's also normal to be in a relationship and still be attracted to someone after they've changed their gender. / tadc /

i try to use it to gather some refs, but there's no real way to disable AI shit, from what i can tell. and if you go to the settings on an AI post, it'll only give you the option phrased like "Show less AI content" like wtf, i don't want any AI at all, i'm going to murder a CEO in minecraft.
