I've alway had this thought that I feel like the large welded line on the Stranger's helmet resembled Qimir's scar closely and was a deliberate choice. The internal damage he suffered (emotionally and mentally) has a physical reminder in his scar but the idea of him concealing himself and hiding who

As a Star Wars fan since I was 6 in 1977 [born in 1971] my HONEST top three Star Wars films or Disney + shows include these two here. They're the most thoughtful. The most challenging yet the coolest. True high art whatever your average YouTuber thinks. I don't know but I THINK the third is Ep III.

Two little pen-and-ink sketches of Osha from The Acolyte. In the first, she's smiling and giving a thumbs up; next to her is text that reads "Osha approved". In the second, she's looking somewhere askance and frowning; next to her is the text "not Osha approved".

Notes:
many apologies for how late this is! I ended up splitting this chapter because i didn't anticipate it going for this long.

enjoy! and if you wants hints for how things are going to go, then listen to the playlist

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text
Osha must crouch near her trailer door for at least twenty minutes, by her estimation.

She stares at the wooden door, feeling detached from herself, the panic thrumming through her body a distant sensation.

The Acolyte is so layered and has that key hallmark of Star Wars " a reminder that love and connection can help to transcend the darkness" #RenewTheAcolyte The excerpt is from the art book, the gift that keeps giving and just shows how much more the Acolyte has to give

"the Acolyte elegantly continues this tradition with a story about two sisters who are separated as children reunited as young women, "only to find thembselves on opposite sides of the mythical archetypes George so brilliantly rendered–the benevolent Jedi and the evil Sith," Roberts added. "It is both a cautionary tale and a tale of redemption and hope as it explores the diffculty even Jedi face when confronted by fear and the dark side." It's a story of tragedy, with Sol's moment of weakness revealing a fatal flaw that ripples across time and makes him vulnerable to the darkness." The Acolyte is also a young woman, tempted by the dark side, who finds her way back to love, back to family, and ultimately decides to face the consequences of her transgressions," Roberts said. "And of her sister, for whom opening up herself to the dark side becomes a refuge and a respite."

And just as Anakin Skywalker was redeemed by the love of his son, Luke, in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, The Acolyte serves as a reminder that love and connection can help to transcend the darkness.
