couple years ago when i first finished signalis i got bored one day and made some sort of tribute song inspired by it, taking a lot of its leitmotifs and putting them into one thing. never actually did anything w it and i don't really plan to, since it's not that great, so i'm uploading it here

Mortal Shell II Open Beta saw someone play this and decided to just try it myself, because it looked really fun and boy it sure was combat feels really nice so far, it looks stunning, the aesthetic is such a cool mix of DS/Bloodborne/Scorn, definitely lacks the gripes i had with soulslikes so far

Boards of Canada - Inferno got really into BoC a little bit before covid with corsair; still one of my favourite duos of all time. tape 05/deep times dropping in april and the announcement for inferno was honestly the most hyped i've been for music in a while, given their 13 year hiatus. (...)

GTA V after 8 years(?) i decided to replay it bc i never actually finished the story and ngl it's Not Good for a gta game. story is short and uninteresting, characters are fun, gameplay is fun, but they half-assed the singleplayer for their biggest cashcow ever and its such wasted potential

continuing the thread with a long one now: death stranding 2 10/10. it's really hard to even put my words together about this game, because it left me utterly stunned. so much love for detail in every aspect from story, to setpieces, to cinematography, everything is so wonderfully interweaved-

path of exile hubby got me into this one it's really fun if you ignore that it's old, missing QoL, and don't read whatever the short people in g1 are yapping about, but jesus christ there's so many poorly explained mechanics that you can ignore without any detriment that it feels bloated at times

cyberpunk 2077 (king of cups ending) need a lot of time to recover. it was amazing, i really didn't expect such a well done switch to horror, but it was super fun - until the end. fuck me. i've never had to make such an extremely painful choice. cried even harder than when i finished signalis.

cyberpunk 2077 (king of wands ending) holy fuck phantom liberty is SO good despite everything i stayed with so mi until the end, anything else felt extremely wrong to me, which paid off since i haven't done any of the main endings yet just so sick, 10 out of fucking 10, def left me a bit broken

sniper elite 4 played this with my partner for the most part - as a fan of the m1 (insert buzz lightyear wall gif) and someone who usually picks snipers in games, this only gets better by the fact that you get to flatline fascists on incredibly detailed maps with plenty side content. love it, 9/10

deftones - private music impressively, their 10th project been listening to it on loop the past week, especially the b side (imo best run on an album in a while) - it's getting me through a pretty stressful and shit period atm, so yeah. i'd argue it's quite alright :,) fave 100% departing the body

piece by piece figured i'd watch this movie bc music that pharell's worked on has been present throughout my entire life now and the concept of it being a complete lego biography just seemed intriguing. very well made, good attention to detail, did skip over some things in the end though

sherlock holmes (2009) pretty good movie, i've never watched it before this idt, i've only ever seen clips and thought "haha, discombobulate" ended up being quite a fun watch and one of the better recent adaptations of sherlock holmes' stories for me

sleepnet - first light close enough welcome back noisia jokes aside, found this for surprisingly cheap i quite liked this ep, nik certainly carried a good bit of the legacy of noisia on with it - or what was left of it at that point at least definitely a nice listen overall

noisia - the tide/concussion randomly found out they pressed this one on vinyl so i had to get it, definitely an impulse buy but i can't complain for 10 bux the tide is probably still my favourite noisia song OAT + concussion is up in the top 10 for me so naturally i HAD to have this
