Theo'd be a fan (phan?) of the Phantom of the Opera. I think he would feel a certain connection to any work that is sympathetic to an ugly, rejected, genius goth with social issues and a bad habit of violent outbursts. It's a guilty pleasure but he would sing the songs. In private. (So he thinks.)

Chocodile has long wanted me to make a ref of Ambroys from our completely inexplicable angel/devil AU... at last, I have done it. Ambroys is to humans what sparkledogs are to rottweilers. A sparkleman, if you will.

A reference sheet for a character drawn in a cartoon style. The character is an angel, of the bewinged human variety. He has golden-brown skin, blond hair, iridescent white wings and is absolutely covered in sparkles. A little chibi doodle shows him getting teased by a cigar-smoking devil (his bestie/worstie).

Ill health runs - ran - in the North line. Caring for an ailing mentor is a familiar, almost comforting ritual to Theo. He welcomes the opportunity Hyden presents to fall back into his old routines. It makes him feel useful. It makes him feel that maybe he can fix it this time.

A Cure for Barbarity 💉 (3/6) Once he gets his claws in, Theo gets a "feel" for a body's state, partly like it's his own, partly like a toy he's playing with. This could be a useful skill for medicinal purposes, but when your heart is in this creep's hands... that's not very comforting.

Anon asks if Hyden was confused by Theo's devotion to his mom. Yes, and also 'weirded out', for lack of a better term. He doesn't get why you'd care so much about ANYONE, never mind someone whose only reason for being in your life was birthing you. He sees it as a lack of maturity on Theo's part.

Other cultures in universe WOULD find her wearing ermine fur uniquely offputting though, far more so than if she wore, say, leopard fur. Attitudes towards kinship with and respect for animals differs across people here (the Norths are just of the “animals are under the dominion of people” type)

Oh it’s real! The culture she’s from doesn’t see anthro-ermines and regular ermines as kin. She’s a person, ermines are animals and thus beneath her; game for hunting like any other animal. The family’s symbol is an ermine (animal) so she and Theo wear the fur to evoke that.
