Having watched all of Schoenbrun's screen trilogy films in the last 24 hours, my favourite is Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, because it was the happiest and required the least thinking. It's probably not as essential viewing as I Saw the TV Glow, but it's absolutely riveting to watch.

The History of Concrete (2026) was good. It was consistently diverting and frequently amusing. Those reviewers calling it "laugh-out-loud funny" are greatly overstating both the intensity and style of the humour, but I did frequently chuckle quietly.
