the entangling of four sawamuras, one sugawara, and...someone, or something else? for @daisugabigbang.bsky.social !! from our incredible writer, @mooifyourecows.bsky.social 's thrilling new fic, with many thanks to our lovely beta, bookdragonwrites on AO3 and Tumblr 🤍 #daisuga #daisugabigbang2026

A colored illustration of an assortment of polaroids atop a wooden table. There are six polaroids, all captured in dark scenes. At the top of the illustration, from left to right, there is a polaroid depicting the interior of a witchy shop and another polaroid depicting the exterior of an old house. In the center of the illustration, there is a polaroid depicting Daichi and Koushi in a swamp. At the bottom of the illustration, there are three polaroids, from left to right: one of Nahomi, Daichi's eldest daughter, halfway up a staircase. Then, one of Chika, Daichi's youngest Daughter, sitting on a couch and playing cat's cradle. Last, Nonoka, Daichi's middle daughter, sitting on the floor of a living room.
On top of the polaroids are four items, composed in the shape of the Fibonacci sequence: Daichi's silver, signet ring with an Odo Nnyew Fie Kwan carved into it, Nonoka's necklace with a Nge-Nge charm, Nahomi's earrings in the shape of Labrys, and Chika's button with a unicorn on it.

the sawamuras and sugawara polaroids! just who is taking them? #daisuga #daisugabigbang2026

A colored, half-body illustration of Daichi and Koushi captured in a polaroid with the flash on. The scene is dark and they are shrouded in shadow, the background revealing they are in a swamp. Koushi, on the left, has his back mostly turned and is standing in front of Daichi and holding his arm as if to shield him. He is wearing a grass-green shirt. He is staring fiercely behind him, towards the camera, as if sensing a presence. Daichi, on the right, leans slightly towards Koushi, being protected by him. He is wearing a sky-blue polo with a pale blue collar. His ear has a piercing hole, but no piercing. His eyebrows are furrowed in worry and he is sweating, unsure what Koushi is staring at but trusting Koushi to protect him.

A colored, half-body illustration of Nahomi, Daichi's eldest daughter, captured in a polaroid with the flash on. The scene is dark and she is shrouded in shadow as she is halfway up a staircase. Nahomi is mostly turned to the camera, and the polaroid is taken from a lower angle, as if taken by someone just behind her on the stairs. She is wearing a green cardigan hanging off her shoulders with a white vest underneath, green headphones, and a simple necklace with blue gems. She has a slightly concerned expression and is not looking directly at the camera.

A colored, half-body illustration of Nonoka, Daichi's middle daughter, captured in a polaroid with the flash on. The scene is dark and she is shrouded in shadow as she is sitting on a living room rug. Nonoka has her shoulders slightly hunched in suspicion, and the polaroid is taken from a high angle, as if taken by someone standing above her. She is wearing an orange t-shirt with simple dinosaur motifs on it, green and blue bandages on her face, and her curly hair is pulled into low pigtails. She has a suspicious and slightly fierce expression as she directly stares into the camera.

A colored, half-body illustration of Chika, Daichi's youngest daughter, captured in a polaroid with the flash on. The scene is dark and she is shrouded in shadow as she is sitting cross-legged on a couch. Chika is fully facing the camera, and the polaroid is taken at her eye-level, as if taken by someone right across from her. She is wearing pink overalls with yellow duckling buttons, a a creme cardigan with green and blue stripes underneath, and she is playing a solo game of cat's cradle with blue string. She has an intrigued expression as she is only focused on her string and is not looking directly at the camera.

my contribution to @daisugabigbang.bsky.social this is the companion piece to the ao3 fic lucky in love by Michi4D with @sapphireruby24.bsky.social as its beta #daisuga

Comic page. First and third panel depict multiple people centering daichi (up) and suga (down) who are talking to them. In the center panel we can see them looking at each other across the table

Suga and daichi talking to each other beside a wall. They are waring yukatas. They get surprised by someone calling for daichi

In the upper panel two younger people are carrying an older, intoxicated man. They are asking daichi for help. In the bottom left panel suga reassures daichi that he can go, and in the last panel daichi jokes about being the boss' favorite

Series of 4 panels depicting different failed dates between suga and daichi.
1. Suga and daichi are looking at each other across another person sitting between them in the movie theater.
2. Suga and daichi are looking at the people who are with them in a ferris wheel cabin with contempt.
3. The two of them are sitting at a table. Daichi is worried, horling his phone. Suga is bent over the table touching his hand reassuringly.
4. Four beds in a hotel room.

A blue colored kitchen, a mug of tea sitting forgotten on the counter, over the sink is a window showing the city at night outside, stars and a street lamp glowing. Daichi and Suga are standing under the glow of an overhead light reminiscent of a police interrogation room. Suga is wearing a brown cardigan over a graphic tee with a smiling cat face and red and orange stripes as well as a red, blue and green macaroni necklace. He looks angry and upset in the middle of telling Daichi something and has grabbed Daichi by the collar of his blue shirt. Daichi looks surprised, eyes wide, mouth open, his hand resting on Suga's arm.

Fic Snippet: Because, if he was being honest, realizing he was practically in love with his best friend hit him like a freight train on a random Tuesday night when they were walking to Sakanoshita Market after practice was not what he had been expecting to happen. Which was //fine//. It didn't bother Suga one bit, really.

He was still Suga, and Sawamura Daichi was still Daichi. Two best friends who play for the boys' Karasuno volleyball team. Captain and vice captain. Nothing changed.

Preview snippet of art also present.

So Nice

Summary:

Suga didn't mind fulfilling his vice captain duties.

What he did mind was the weariness in Daichi's eyes when he arrived at the gym ten minutes later. His practice jacket was noticeably wrinkled, a sure sign that Daichi didn't have enough time to attend to his own laundry last night, but it was quickly discarded almost as soon as he walked through the door.

A colored, half-body illustration of Koushi in an A/B/O, or omegaverse AU. Koushi is smiling as he is wearing a black jacket slightly too large for him. Someone asks him, "Isn't that jacket too big on you, Suga-kun?" Koushi replies, "This is Daichi’s jacket! He let me borrow it because it's cold today!" Someone then thinks, "Uwah...Sawamura sure is bold staking his claim..." Koushi is covered in Daichi's coffee bread scent, shown through green, half-tone bubbles around him. He is symbolically represented as being "claimed" by Daichi through a green scent patch on his neck.

A colored, half-body illustration of Daichi in an A/B/O, or omegaverse AU. Daichi is smiling as he runs a hand through his slightly messy hair, the other hand on his hip. Someone asks him, "Daichi-san, what's up with your hair?" Daichi replies, "Suga went too wild with giving me a noogie earlier. The antics of my vice captain..." Someone then thinks, "Sugawara is sending a clear message to everyone, huh?" Daichi is covered in Koushi's apple with honey whipped cream scent, shown through blue, half-tone bubbles around him. He is symbolically represented as being "claimed" by Koushi through a blue scent patch on his neck.

Daichi grinned, and that only made Koushi warmer with desire. “I just like hearing it. I want you, too.” “Don't I know it.” Koushi only cackled when Daichi groaned in embarrassment and chased him out of the room.

1100

“When we get home…” Koushi said slowly. “I still want you.” Daichi gulped, eyes wide and hopeful. “Yeah?” Koushi smacked Daichi's arm, cheeks reddening. “You already know that!”

170

Koushi held back from expressing his disappointment that he was not getting fucked on his desk (and now he had gained his lucidity, too, that was not happening…at least, not anytime soon). The fantasy was good enough for now. Having Daichi with him mattered the most.

Eventually, Daichi pulled back and smoothed out his jacket sleeves. He cleared his throat. “Let's just go home. I'm embarrassed now.”
