Oleander initiated it. He pressed his lips to the corner of its mouth, kissing there. It startled the beast, made him try to make eye contact. So, he tried again, kissed its lips, but there was trepidation. He was not sure if Eadmund would embrace him or devour him.

The main schools of magic are Elemental (different from nature) Necromancy Divination Physical (so healing and body enhancement) Nature (plants and animals) There’s a few small off shoots for non mages but they are very specific. Non mages would be like birthed witches who already do magic.

Essentially there is a council for each type of magic that sets the rules of what you can and can’t do and they police it. Necromancy has a lot of extra rules because of the dead bodies part. That’s kind of the vague gist lol.

The heat in Falling Apart Together is a camp fire slowly building. As you add more and more sticks it grows until suddenly someone dumps kerosene on the fire and it explodes leaving a tense passionate moment that burns out character completely leaving them confused. #SumLuv #WriteSky

I’d say that it’s semi lust at first sight. They meet at a night club and think the other is hot, but they do come out not kissing or anything. They decide to be friends and over the story they fall in love. It’s like medium burn instead of slow. #SumLuv #WriteSky

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 2365: Re: characters. Everyone does what they do for a reason. Most of the time they have no idea what that reason is. But as the author, you need to know. You don't necessarily have to tell the readers, but YOU need to know.
