i'll never forgive Mega64 making a video where the "joke" is that Nintendo was allegedly adding nothing but shovelware to NSO, using this game as an example. not only is it actually good. it getting re-released is basically impossible due to those legal issues.

curious if you heard about Piko doing the same thing with the NES Mad Max game of all things. there's a unique version of the game on cheap licensed handhelds and their recent Bleemcast smartphone app that renames the game to "Road Raider", which was a predecessor game from the same devs.

so Piko Interactive FINALLY used the Bleem trademark they picked up years ago on an iOS/Android subscription service. the first thing i noticed is that the UI still calls "Top Racer" by it's original name Top Gear.... 😬
