the first issue of Neo Geo Freak contains a preview of Ironclad (超鉄ブリキンガー) while the text suggests the change was already done, it originally started development on the MVS before becoming exclusive to the CD a proto of the former exists, and all modern rereleases use that version.

so Piko Interactive FINALLY used the Bleem trademark they picked up years ago on an iOS/Android subscription service. the first thing i noticed is that the UI still calls "Top Racer" by it's original name Top Gear.... 😬

in-game it uses the correct modified ROM with the new name.

just learnt that the PS4/Vita ports of Alien Shooter just got pulled from PSN as part of a recent shovelware purge. not only was it actually decent, it's one of the few console games to have an ACTUAL Windows executable in the files to run it on PC.

the executable running in a window resolution matching the Vita's screen.

the original concept for the Playstation Move originates as far back as 2000, with it spending it's early R&D phases as an extra accessory for the Eyetoy camera. notably the "wand" at this stage is just a plain ball with no electronics, rather than the glowing orb the final controller used.

an image taken in 2000 of an unknown staffer (other images in the set feature his wife & son) testing the tech, sourced from a disc labeled "Corporate & Technical Information and GT3".

in this example, a witch is placed on top of the wand.

i recreated the elusive "Savage Sticks" that were served at Alamo Drafthouse cinemas during the June 2026 Sony State of Play. they were once surprisingly evasive when it came to having their photograph taken, to the point i don't even think @insomniac.games knew what they looked like.

the original menu description, sponsored by Wolverine.

"Warm pretzel sticks coated with garlic-basil oil, topped with parmesan cheese, and served with marinara dipping sauce."

the end result. the marinara sauce was lost on the way to it's creation.
