I'm clearing out this crab apple tree I have. It produces enough apples to get turned into jam. It's hard to determine whether some of the bruised apples are worth saving, but the ones that have their skin pierced are thrown away for the wildlife to snack on

I'm now testing out what magnets would work for my modular tiles. Unfortunately, 3x1mm magnets do not have the strength I need for the tiles, so I now need to find bigger and stronger magnets. My tiles are 1/2 inch thick. Yep, I'm combining metric and imperial sizing.

More testing with the tiles has been done! I like the thin grass, and the thicker stuff works well in small portions.

I'm testing out making tiles with EVA foam scraps to see how well it works. I probably could review more youtube videos on making these tiles, but it doesn't hurt to experiment.

Test pieces of tiles with acrylic paint, mod podge, and sand. Clearly, they were still wet when I touched them.

I want to get some streaming in this week and also plan some other streams for the upcoming weeks. I'm actually considering doing more diorama builds, but with more actual crafting. I do have a few Rolife Super Creator builds to do, but for a while now I have an itch to make stuff from scratch.

My IT training is just about complete! I'm wrapping up this week, and I'll finally be able to have some time to relax. I have so much that I want to do, but I also need to properly balance out my priorities for the future. For now, I want to take the moment to let this feeling of freedom sink in.

Happy Canada Day! I have today off from my coursework, so I made this diorama of a Hot Pot restaurant. Now I'm hungry for Hot Pot.
