I'm clearing out this crab apple tree I have. It produces enough apples to get turned into jam. It's hard to determine whether some of the bruised apples are worth saving, but the ones that have their skin pierced are thrown away for the wildlife to snack on

Two crab apples in my hand. Some are bruised, but most of them are delicious

I'll be streaming Goddess of Victory: NIKKE in roughly 15 minutes. Let's catch up with the story!

I totally forgot to show off my tiles I completed a while ago! I'm trying to decide on whether I want to try making a building or different style of tiles

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I'm now testing out what magnets would work for my modular tiles. Unfortunately, 3x1mm magnets do not have the strength I need for the tiles, so I now need to find bigger and stronger magnets. My tiles are 1/2 inch thick. Yep, I'm combining metric and imperial sizing.

3x1mm magnets glued into the side of some foam.

Staring at a fridge/pantry for hours to decide on what to have to eat, to only go for an apple, since it requires no preparation.

More testing with the tiles has been done! I like the thin grass, and the thicker stuff works well in small portions.

Tiles with grass covering. Two types of grass covers were used.

Sample tiles with fine and thick grass covering. White glue was used to hold the grass down.

I'm testing out making tiles with EVA foam scraps to see how well it works. I probably could review more youtube videos on making these tiles, but it doesn't hurt to experiment.

Test pieces of tiles with acrylic paint, mod podge, and sand. Clearly, they were still wet when I touched them.

Testing out a water-based resin to make sand stick.

I should be streaming shortly, as I need to get set up.

My task is done! Once I am home, I'll get ready to stream some crafting.

Oh, I may have to put Tuesdays stream on hold. I'm waiting on a task to get done, and I may have to early as tomorrow.

020

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Okay, Let's try to get a bunch of crafting in for this week. I suspect I may get some other streams in, but I haven't confirmed it for now.

000

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

I want to get some streaming in this week and also plan some other streams for the upcoming weeks. I'm actually considering doing more diorama builds, but with more actual crafting. I do have a few Rolife Super Creator builds to do, but for a while now I have an itch to make stuff from scratch.

A screenshot of my schedule-making process. How default can I go with how I use Clip Studio Paint?

I treated myself to a 5080 graphics card for passing my course, but my current PSU would not be able to handle it, so I'm getting that upgraded as well.

What's this? a guerilla stream out of nowhere? and it's on NIKKE's summer event! Yeah, let's do this! www.twitch.tv/kruxy

Lol, I'm just going through my timeline, and it's just mostly me complaining about my course.

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

My IT training is just about complete! I'm wrapping up this week, and I'll finally be able to have some time to relax. I have so much that I want to do, but I also need to properly balance out my priorities for the future. For now, I want to take the moment to let this feeling of freedom sink in.

A hastily drawn kruxy, looking exhausted, sitting by a computer. The following text is mostly the same as my post:

"I'm wrapping up my course this week!
It's been a hectic 3 months of non-stop
work, so I want to take the chance to
recharge. I don't have plans for a big
stream at the moment, as I need to plan
out what I'll be doing, going on forward."

021

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

The certificates have been obtained! The coursework is complete! I'm still going to be busy, but a lot of the hardwork is done.

030

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

I'm super close to finishing all of my coursework I've been working on for the past 3 months. I may have to get the rest done tomorrow, but it's going to feel like a weight off my shoulders.

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Happy Canada Day! I have today off from my coursework, so I made this diorama of a Hot Pot restaurant. Now I'm hungry for Hot Pot.

A Rolife Super Creator Panda Hot Pot diorama. A panda-themed restaurant with a table loaded with meat and veggies for cooking in the broth, a selection of dipping sauces for extra flavour, a selection of beverages in the corner, and a cart with more meat to feast on. If this doesn't make you hungry, then maybe you already ate?

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

I'm nearing the end of my coursework. If I'm looking at the calendar right, I should have 2 more weeks left. The downside right now is that the remaining coursework is covering AI...

The final boss glitching out to where it raged quit the fight and giving us no rewards asides from a middle finger is probably the most fitting ending to Ark Survival Evolved. Over 1000 hours of playtime on it.

This week will be absolutely time-packed for me, as I'm wrapping up 2 games, pushing for a solo-stream, and the weekly Baldur's Gate 3 stream, WHILE I'm getting packed with more coursework than ever. After this week, I likely won't be streaming at all.

Wednesday: Ark Survival Evolved (With Segwo), sometime in the evening.

I spent the entire say off playing Subnautica (with a break to stream BG3). The first one absolutely still holds up and I have no regrets. It's also the one game I would love to play in VR, if I had the equipment.

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 13/06/2026

This was one of the hardest weeks for the amount of work I had to tackle. 5-6 days of non-stop studying completely. I fear it could get worse.

Well, I spent my birthday recovering from the con plague and catching up on coursework. I guess I wouldn't have been able to stream for my birthday anyways, lol. Thankfully, my energy is coming back in waves, so I'm hoping I'll be over the illness soon. I'll need the energy, as it's getting busy.

040

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Okay, con crud is kicking my butt right now. As much as I really need rest, I still have a lot of coursework to catch up on.

010

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 20/05/2026

Sadly, I will not be having my 12-14 hour Stream-a-thon for my Birthday this weekend, or even this year. My workload is continuously increasing, and anytime I have a break, I just want to rest or hang out with friends. I do have a stream in plans for June, but no solo streams for now.

Kruxy gesturing to the following text:
"Due to my heavy workload
and tight schedule, I will
not be able to do my 12-14
hour Stream-a-thon for my
birthday. With so little time
for myself, I'd rather spend
my time resting or hanging
out with friends. I am
planning some streams in
the future, but for now, solo
streaming is on hold."

Feels so weird that it's already the end of the first day at Otafest. Felt like it went way too fast. I did arrive pretty late, though

Kruxy @kruxy.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

I've been super busy with my courses, Otafest work, family stuff, and chores. I have no idea on how I'm pulling through lol. Thankfully Molly has been keeping me company

So I did play NTE on stream last week, and while I initially found it pretty neat, I discovered there were a lot of generative AI assets used in the game. I've deleted it off my computer, and until all the generative AI is removed, I'm not playing it again.
