All I knew about Charlie Kirk before his death was that he was a right-wing personality. I'd never heard him speak until I saw the video from seconds before he was shot. During which time, I thought: "Oh, he's Rush Limbaugh. Doing the 'entertaining blowhard' schtick. And that's... the whole story."

Trump and Miller are intent on building an unaccountable domestic secret police force that would be the world's third-biggest security force by funding levels, after the US and China's *militaries*. That kind of funding dwarfs its stated purpose, which tells you what its real purpose will be.

I’ve been baffled by Trump’s obliteration of US science, education, medicine, etc. But the tariffs clarify things: He’s taking stuff away so that he can preferentially give it back. It’s the “Muad’dib” theory of dictatorship: create a scarcity crisis to which his favor only is the solution.

Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back. This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008. Also bigger than the 2024 DNC. And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).
