The American exceptionalism is staggering. I posted about British black history month bc it’s October & in February I highlight American BHM but to them apparently only February is allowed to be BHM?? Do we need to paint our profiles with our identity so we can prove we are allowed to exist?

I prefer they simply ask if they can ask me a favour or if I can I do something for them. Then my reply is always ‘Potentially, what do you need?’ It gives me more confidence to be able to say no if I need to.
