We have a contested election here in Tucson between Joanna Mendoza & Juan Ciscomani. This below is one of the dumbest things I've seen maga do. The website is equally hilarious. Apparently, calling anyone they don't like a "torta" is supposed to gain them votes. Let the ridicule begin.

Below is more detail on Andy Biggs' protection of the FLDS. The man is an established election denier in addition to being an established PDF protector. Warren Jeffs was convicted in 2011, yet his crimes were of no concern to Biggs. I also wonder what connection Biggs has to the FLDS.

How many remember Lisa Frank? Yesterday, I had a look at the old factory while visiting DHL which is across the street. Lisa Frank never had a good rep as a great place to work at in Tucson. If you've watched the doc, Glitter & Greed, the owners went crazy with the excesses of capitalism.

My local PBS station is no longer broadcasting its signal due to equipment failure. Of course they're short funding because of our awful federal government. In addition to streaming, I kept an antenna deliberately to receive their signal. There is no information on when the issue will be fixed.

Great turn out in Tucson on 10/18 for No Kings. These photos were taken earlier in the morning. In about an hour, there were so many people that it became difficult to walk through the crowds. A lot of people wore yellow as a sign of oppression.

I vacationed in Vermont recently. I participated in a mushroom hunt in Smuggler's Notch as an activity. Upon my return to Tucson, I decided to join a local group only to find out that the Hispanic organizer had been detained for committing a minor offense as a teenager. The man is in his 30s.

I started donating to the ACLU again. They're watching H.R. 9495 which gives the executive branch the authority to dismantle any nonprofit it deems to have provided "material support" to terrorist groups. According to the ACLU, "the potential for abuse is staggering." This bill passed the House.
