I sure hope some leaders in the Democratic party read this piece. And maybe even act on it.

Yarn bombing is where knitted or crocheted yarn—rather than paint—adorns public objects like poles, and benches. Also known as "guerrilla knitting,", it is a street art originally started by women #Womensart

There are a whole bunch of reasons to turn out for #nokings tomorrow but here are maybe the top two: 1) huge turnout is a signal to republicans edging away from Trump and puts steel in Dem spines. 2) least we can do to honor bravery of Minnesotans who turned the tide

CO Representative Jason Crow @crow.house.gov making it clear exactly how we demonstrate our power:
“If those with power and influence want to sell off our rights and freedoms to enrich themselves, then Americans should make it clear that cowardice and greed will fail them,” he said.

“We will not shop at your stores. We will not tune into your TV and radio stations. We will not send our kids and our money to your universities, or use your services if you are going to enable our slide to authoritarianism.”

The Democratic Women’s Caucus calls it the “Big Bad Billionaire Bill.” 👍 @demwomencaucus.bsky.social
The Big Bad Billionaire Bill betrays American families.

It guts Medicaid, starving rural hospitals and leaving women & families without care.

And when those hospitals close, where will pregnant women in rural communities go?

All to give tax cuts to the rich. We’re fighting back.

~Democratic Women’s Caucus

Ages 0-4 are the most important, emotionally & intellectually, in human development. Yet, in the US, we have a very high rate of childhood poverty and a broken child care system. Congratulations to New Mexico for leading the way forward for high quality, free child care. Other states must follow.
