Webdev is so weird - I'm running an nginx webserver in docker alongside multiple other containers, which sends html files produced from markdown with mdbook, and also has a stub of a perl script where I can plug in Toy's repl when its ready. It's plumbing all the way down.

I have a couple of devices made for emulation, and I have a pirated copy of FireRed, but I haven't *played* it, instead I used it to make the ROM for Pokemon Unbound (a ROMhack). I've also played ROMs of games I owned as a kid, and games I've never owned. Question: Where does the morale line lie?

Working with other people is a massive productivity boost. For me, even somthing as simple as working beside someone else can help, so I often do a kind of body-doubling with a friend of mine. I code, and occasionally try to explain my ideas to him, while he politely nods and pretends to understand.
