The coworker I took over for in the garden center today was SUPER sick, but she was wearing a mask and had a can on Lysol spray and Clorox wipes that she was using to clean everything after she used it, which I appreciate greatly, and she left Lysol and Clorox wipes with me to be extra cautious

I just remembered this thing my grandfather had when I was a kid that you could write an email on it, and then hold it up to a phone receiver at, like, a payphone, and it would convert the email to audio data, which then went to a server that converted it back and sent it over the internet an email

One of the things I love about my job is how easy my coworkers make it - not in that they do anything for me, but in that I can trust them to do what needs doing so that I can do my job without incident. This guy needs CONSTANT babysitting and cannot be left alone or else he WILL fuck things up.

I would very much like for people at work to not go over their allotted break times. I'm the guy who relieves people, so people get pissed off at me when their breaks are late, but if whoever I'm relieving takes 45 minutes on their 30 minutes lunch, it's not my fault but I'm still bearing the brunt.

I nearly t-boned someone going 40 on my way to work. Dude pulled off to the right side of the road, then didn't even look as he just cut a hard left to cross both lanes. I slammed on my brakes and stopped maybe six inches from him. I also blew out my voice screaming "use your fucking eyes" at him

Man, I just remembered a thousand years ago when I lived in a tent and worked in a call center, and there was a Checkers that I rode my bike by every night just as they were about to close, and they'd give me a ton of leftover food that they were otherwise gonna throw out.
