Apparently, the stationary and fountain pen bubble got me, too (I blame the paper republic notebook) - I’ve been buying too much stuff and now I’m drafting most of the short story I’m currently working on by hand. But hey, at least terrible handwritten notes are proof the thing wasn’t AI written!

Until today I had no idea a solar halo is a thing that exists. We saw one during our hike at Piton de la Fournaise and it took me a few moments to understand that it’s just an optical phenomenon, not aliens attacking or something like that

Hiking is more fun when you’re not starting with the descent into the valley so you have to climb all the way up again, but we made it down to La Chapelle and back again. 8km, 800m in height + fun with boulders in the riverbed

Dungeon Master - discovered it in the mid 90s together with a friend in his dad’s collection and we were OBSESSED. It’s a game that fits on a single floppy disk, but it had us enthralled for over a year. I think I can still play the first two levels from memory.

Yes, there’s so much to discover, so many new routes and approaches to try out!! Not to speak of going high/low chaos (I only ever played low chaos so far). I’m currently finishing yet another a BG3 replay (trying out new games, what’s that? 😄) but maybe I do DH afterwards!
