I think this will be one of the defining images of the Premier League's void years: a proudly working class fanbase celebrating that the ruling family of an oppressive regime had hired a barrister on £10,000-an-hour to try and prevent them suffering consequences for their cheating. Embarrassing.
A bunch of mugs celebrating their perceived impunity

Didn't take long for the UAE government to get to Burnham did it?

Are we seriously saying Martinelli couldn't improve this squad?

Looking at Merino he could be really key for us in the first few weeks of the season when we're likely missing Rice. He's over the injuries and won't need a holiday or a preseason

Drop Rice? Fine by me...

There's something so disingenuous about the way that in the run-up to a by-election all these top politicians descend on some nondescript town, promised everyone there the earth and go out of their way to make them feel important then disappear and leave them to it the minute the votes are counted

People of a certain political persuasion would have you believe that London is a segregated, dangerous shithole. Being in the middle of what unfolded yesterday proves the absolute opposite. London is an absolute model of multicultural success. People from far and wide coming together.

What a day. Arsenal fans are the greatest people on earth. Over a million of us turned out and in a crowd that size i didn't once feel my little lad was in any danger. Just happy faces and friendly people. That really was just what we needed after the heartbreak of Saturday

I wish Palace well tonight, but one thing: whatever TNT/HBO thinks, they're not wearing "Palace For Life" jerseys because they're a lovely club supporting a good cause, but because their actual sponsor, NET88, is an illegal Asian sports betting company and cannot be advertised in a UEFA competition.

Palace and their fans were great. I loved how they did their lap of honour then gave the stadium up to Arsenal's stadium announcer. Was fantastic. Me and my boy will be rooting for Palace on Wednesday, unlike fucking Villa last week

One final point. Alot of negative things are said about modern football fans but a I was in the North Bank 28 years ago when Tony Adams slammed in our fourth against Everton to win the league. That was a great great day, but fans now are better in every way. Some great people out there last night

More than anything, I'm struck by how fucking massive this club is. I'm 45, I've supported this club my whole life and even i didn't appreciate it. The sheer number of people up there yesterday and the millions more all over the world. What a movement we're all part of

I usually prefer to read than contribute on here, but thought I'd share this. Me and my son had the privilege of being at Palace yesterday then heading back to Arsenal for the celebrations. Incredible day, never to be forgotten. It still hasn't fully sunk in

We walked from Finsbury Park to Highbury and Islington on our way to palace this morning and every pub had queues at 10am. Reminds you how massive this club is

I hope that at some point the Club finds a way to acknowledge the players who played a part in where we've got to but that weren't with us at the end. Ramsdale. Xhaka. Nelson. Smith-Rowe. Tierney. Tomiyasu. Many others.... I hope they get the credit they deserve for the part they've played.

I don't, I want them to be as boring as possible TBH, but it seems the wider public would prefer someone who is more of an entertainer, despite the lessons that should have been learned by employing clowns like Johnson in the past.

Maybe, just maybe, despite the fact that our PM isnt particularly charismatic, things are heading in the right direction and we should think before we smash it all down?

Thought we were really good that last fifteen minutes, especially given the pressure level. A good platform for Sunday. Not our best, but better.

Pete @kpete.bsky.social · 15/04/2026
Very difficult. Single ones are much easier but as my son is ten I dont have that option. Incidentally there are a few sets of two together for tonight's game on the exchange as we speak but theyre for tickets that are over £100 each

200
Pete @kpete.bsky.social · 14/04/2026
To access the exchange you have to have been unsuccessful in the ballot for that game, so basically I just view the ballot as a way to access to ticket exchange. You know you won't win when you enter it.
100
Pete @kpete.bsky.social · 14/04/2026
The ballots are an absolute joke. Not won a single one all season, every game me and my boy have got to has been via the exchange

Pete @kpete.bsky.social · 12/04/2026
Im glad City have won (and bear with me here). Arsenal need a complete change in mentality and I really feel the only way we'll get that is if we go up there needing a win. If a draw will do, we'll just play within ourselves again. Stakes have never been higher. Time to deliver.

Pete @kpete.bsky.social · 11/04/2026
Im struggling to think of a single arsenal player apart from Rice who was better than anyone in their team
000
Pete @kpete.bsky.social · 11/04/2026
I think it becomes sustainable if we get over the line as the psychological barrier is gone for future seasons. But i think that fact polarises things if we blow it now from such a strong position. I think this squad and possibly this manager will be done.

Pete @kpete.bsky.social · 11/04/2026
They should hang their fucking heads in shame after this
