Terraformation is finally out! This album has been a year in the making. It took a lot of work, hours of layering, tweaking, and experimenting with multiple analogue synths and a modular system. I’ve put a lot of myself into this one, and I hope you enjoy it. kosmikos.bandcamp.com/album/terraf...

@etherdiver.bsky.social, hi there, @acefstripe.bsky.social mentioned that you could be reviewing some of my music. Please do, I would be most honoured. 🙏

This is my own entry to the Spitfire Audio competition. It’s always fun to dust off the old E-MU Orbit rompler to sprinkle some of its forgotten magic into a challenge. #teo-5 #orbit #eurorack #colossusrescore youtu.be/0CSPir4u_lE

We need a not for profit system to compete with these guys. It could be moderated and curated by the community, and stay independent from any venture capitalists. Not sure how that would work for development costs and hosting fees though. 🤔

Could the added exposure increase the Bandcamp sales in any significant way? Now that would make it a valid reason for me. I know nothing about Spotify, but it always seemed like it only really benefits commercial artists who already have a large amount (millions) of followers. Maybe I’m wrong.

Hey all new Blueskyers, here’s a private track just for you. I made this a while ago, not my everyday style, but fun nevertheless. Let me know if you like it, and I’ll try to make some more for you. 👽 youtu.be/bTm8hXJJM3w

Spotify, I’ve never had a membership. Reading lots of complaints about how unfair their revenue model is. But if that’s the case, why do small independent artists still publish their music on this platform? Do you still make more revenue on Spotify than on Bandcamp? Are you chasing exposure there?

From time to time I make some more rhythmic works under the 1999 monicker. This is also my first label album release, something to cherish and celebrate! I also did the art and the CD cover 💿 which was lots of fun.

Not sure if it’s the same, but that looks about right price wise: mou.sr/4chah3e I have a smaller one and it seems like a reasonably good product. Mine is graded as a medical power supply, so it’s probably okay to use for audio application. The Meanwell ones do look slightly more robust somehow.

Updating to a new link, since I’ve removed the original video due to some undetected problems with my audio interface that I had to fix in post and re-upload: youtu.be/4gHbVsvWFCg?...

I have the same feeling. Lots of things started, none finished. I’m trying to lean into the fact this isn’t work, I can go at my own pace. Even at work nobody can be productive 100% of the time. There is also the 🐘 in the room, not making music makes my GAS worse, that also makes me feel guilty.

That’s lucky because you seem to have forgotten to place C2 and the two pots looks like they are missing solder. 😜

30 minutes of generative ambient, with pretty blinkenlights. From a single modular case, mostly Mutable Instruments and Joranalogue modules. No human intervention, external effects, or post processing (bar the YouTube algorithm). youtu.be/b1FLF5zmowk?...

Or maybe Bougarabou? They look smaller and more cylindrical than djembes on this picture. 🤔

African Djembes? The one to the right seems to be a Remo branded one, a more modern interpretation.

That’s on my phone, a few Transponder albums. On my work machine I mainly gravitate around Aes Dana and Carbon Based Lifeforms, and then some more Transponder when I’m bored. 🙄

The only promising shop I saw during my vacation turned up to be a lie…

A Greek souvenir and Jewellery shop named Synthesis, that sadly doesn’t sell any audio gear.
