Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I'm not sure if this is a Mac issue or something else, but when I download it, it's not zipped. Zipping it in MacOS results in a .zip file that the playdate website won't accept, as it says "pdxinfo is missing" 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Online store link is here - t.co/ySJIS7Qd9l - but there's no page for the tails yet. 010
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 01/10/2026STOP THE MF'ing PRESSES! Shimamura/Avail is selling Disney themed "character design tail charms" in their online store starting Tuesday. *!@#% PLEASE! These are fursuit tails and y'all know it! ¥3,850 each is a crazy good price. I don't need them, but I want Lucifer, Cheshire, & Nick so bad! 110
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 01/10/2026The view on the way to Ashigara started off nice, but the closer I got the more the clouds gathered around Fuji. 110
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 01/10/2026The views from the highway were perfectly clear. Not fair! 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I brought my wolfy boy all the way to see Mt. Fuji, but the clouds had other ideas. 🥲 At least they had some cool Pokemon art. 280
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Disclaimer: Yes, I have feelings about the bird site, but as a furry in Japan, you're either on it or you don't exist. The community here runs on that site, and there are even external site's that use the bird login/handle to schedule events. It's pretty much mandatory to keep an account there. 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I've never had any connection to a tweet that's blown up, but I think this one my suit maker made last night certainly qualifies. I had no idea there was so much interest in fluffy, huggable tails. 120
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 29/09/2026I really can not convey how excited I am to see the updates from the maker working on the suit for my variant fursona. This image (and others) dropped while I was at work tonight and it was all I could do not to run around and show everybody. 010
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 29/09/2026If you need a good monitor arm for a big monitor, the Ergotron LX is really good. I've been using two of them (27" and 32" monitors) for over five years and have never had a drop. They're rated for monitors up to 11kg. 001
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 24/09/2026#JMoF2027 hotel reservation done! Now there's just the waiting.... 001
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Super clear skies after yesterday's typhoon. I can actually see all the way to Mt. Fuji this morning. 040
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Very cool ref sheet! I love the bag and contents. Yay for the Playdate! 010
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Good bit of #JMoF2027 info for anybody who was able to snag a Captain level attendance. For the Flight of Dreams special event, you can bring a guest with a fursuit, and they can use the Flight Park changing space. They can not use the Captain changing room at Sky Expo. 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Looking through the current Mont Bell magazine, Outward (Fall 2026 No. 112), and I see this sleeping bag, but it's only recommended for heights up to 155cm. Seriously?!? webshop.montbell.jp/goods/disp.p... 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 12/09/2026#JMoF2027 registration complete! Got the tier I wanted, and also a ticket for the Dead Dog Part. Third JMoF for me, but this'll be the first time I go to the DDP. 001
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 10/09/2026My 22 hour return trip home is now a 31+ hour slog, thanks to a malfunction during pushback on the first flight. I'll still get home on the same date, just much later. At least I've got a good way to entertain myself during layovers. (Yes, more than one of those now...) 010
Reposted by KorphynKØRPH1N @k0rph1n.bsky.social · 08/09/2026My physical form is developing further! I now have a foot paw. Soon there will be two, and before long I will be whole. I can't wait to venture into the world! 011
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 07/09/2026I already have one full suit, and will be getting my second one soon. For me, this partial is good for messing around in when a full suit isn't practical, or when I want to take a break from fullsuiting at a con. 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 07/09/2026I've seen a lot of divided opinions about these pieces online, and I get it. They are mass-produced, and the designs are super-generic. But they're an option worth considering for some. 100
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 07/09/2026I went back to Spirit Halloween and was able to snag the matching feet paws for the pieces I got last week. The full set was just under US$160 before tax. Not a bad deal for anybody with a tight budget, or looking to customize and/or refurb some of the pieces. 120
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 07/09/2026I see the term "she shed" used a fair bit online for women's crafty spaces in the backyard or garden. 110
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 04/09/2026I'm in the US for a visit, so I decided to check out the fursuit stuff at Spirit Halloween. For putting together a basic partial, it's really not a bad deal. I picked up a head, paws, and tail for $160 to have something to mess around in when taking a break from full-suiting. 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Thanks! Will do! Just chilling in the Sky Club now, and we've got decent seats for the flight. The only drag is the 4-hour layover for our connection in the US. 010
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Ah! I just remembered, today is my Japanniversary! On this date in 2004, I moved to Japan, and I've been here every since. 130
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 01/09/2026It's Haneda, in Tokyo, but I'm flying to the US for a visit. 110
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Ah, that’s rough. I don’t know how long suits typically last. I’ve had mine less than two years and haven’t had as many chances to wear it as I’d like. (Maybe for the best, since that puts less wear on it.) I hope you get your desire to suit back, and a new Bea that’ll meet your needs. 010
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Oh no! Do you think you can get a bit of a refurb done on her to keep her in action a bit longer, or have things gotten too far gone for that to be an option? 100
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 30/08/2026I saw this sign in Family Mart yesterday, suggesting combining their fried chicken (Famichiki) and pancakes (with maple syrup and margarine). I gave it a shot this morning and liked it! Very "chicken & waffles" kind of vibe to it. Not an everyday snack, but worth trying at least once. 020
Reposted by KorphynKØRPH1N @k0rph1n.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Now I have two paws! So much better for hugging, bapping, or booping! Soon I'll have feet, a body, and even a tail! 031
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 21/08/2026Oh, I know that feeling. The maker I wanted to commission when I got my gryphon suit made didn't have any slots open. I reached out to them over a year ago to see if they'd accept a deposit for a production slot this year, and they said yes. 2nd 'sona coming to life soon... ^.^ 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 19/08/2026That is an epic amount of travel! Keep doing what you're doing, take good care of yourself, and I hope to see you at JMoF again next year. 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 18/08/2026The sponsor bag from #ケモフェス2026 #KemoFest2026 was really nice! Tote bag, t-shirt, towel, con book, wrist band, pin badge, and lanyard - all really well made. (The sticker I bought as an extra goody.) Happy to support and looking forward to next year! 010
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 17/08/2026I forget what movie I heard the line from, but it was something along like, "nobody's really listening, they're all just waiting for their turn to speak." The problem with doing that is that it tells everybody exactly what they need to know about you, and you never learn anything about them. 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 16/08/2026I don't care that it rained during the day. The weather was good enough to ride to and from work for the first time in two weeks! 010
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 15/08/2026The organizers did a great job making use of the Lumiere Fuchu facility. There were multiple changing rooms this time, and the ones on the second floor had easy escalator access the main Festival room. My main hope for next year is a proper headless lounge, with lots of fans and ice water on hand. 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 15/08/2026411 people turned out for the second year of Tokyo Kemono Festival - double from last year! I really love this mini con. It's a one day event only an hour's drive for me, and the ratio of fursuiters to attendees is through the roof. I really hope this one keeps going for years to come! 130
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 15/08/2026Great looking suit! Love the Protogen bait. 😁 @nisekata.bsky.social 132
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 15/08/2026Easy drive to Tokyo Kemono Festival this morning and plenty of available parking. Still time to wait until registration and the changing rooms open. Digging the posters they have up for other cons. (JMoF is the only one of these four I'll make it to.) 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Going to give it a real-world spin at Tokyo Kemono Festival tomorrow. I'll report back on how it goes. 000
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 14/08/2026My current setup was two pillows stuff in eco-bags hanging on the belt that holds up my tail insert. It worked well enough, but was mechanically a bit cumbersome. This padding insert seems to work really well. I've stuffed it and done a test fitting, and the look is pretty good. 100
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 14/08/2026I know buying fursuit stuff on amazon is always a gamble, but I needed something better for leg padding in my gryphon suit and decided to give this a shot. Digi leg padding (polyfill not included) where you can choose how much stuffing to add. www.amazon.com/dp/B0D6GZDC4G 100
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Yes! Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 13/08/2026If you have the chance to go see this, please do. Even if you've never seen it before and have to go in without subtitles, it is an absolute visual feast. The title sequence alone is worth the price of admission. 100
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 13/08/2026There weren't any subtitles, but I've seen it enough times to know what was going on. I was there for the sights and sounds of the theatrical experience, and it did not disappoint. It looked great and Hirasawa Susumu's score sounded amazing at theatrical volumes. 100
Korphyn @korphyn.bsky.social · 13/08/2026This year is the 20th anniversary of Kon Satoshi's "Paprika." They're doing a short theatrical run of a new 4K remaster, and I went to see it tonight. Having only ever seen it on TV, it was a pretty special experience. 100
