Mini-Koot is out and up to that nonsense again.

We got where we were going for tonight’s nonsense. The church opposite has a crooked spire! (It’s well known for it, apparently. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_St_… fursuits.online/@kootenay/117213780…

Sure, Mini-Koot, whatever. It’s your adventure, so let’s go with your nonsense.

Of all the places this Mini-Koot adventure has taken us, this was the most surprising today.

This wasn’t how I envisioned my first summer back in the UK, compared to Toronto to go. Days at or above 30ºC: Toronto: 5 (Jul), 0 (Aug) [source: ec.gc.ca] London: 7 (Jul), 5 (Aug) [source: wunderground, redhill station] I miss the A/C back in my Toronto condo ;p

Ugh… Am going down to a festival tomorrow with an aim of some Khajiiting. Forecast is sunny and high of 29ºC (84ºF) Also next weekend planning going back to the Joust I did last weekend. Forecast again is sunny with high of 29ºC. Athra would prefer to walk on some _cooler_ sands, please!!

A second day of costumed shenanigans- this time of the #Khajiit variety. Athra made his first appearance at the Loxwood Joust today, and was well received! Will be back in a couple of weeks time (and hopefully will be able to get more photos than just selfies) #Fursuit #TESOnline #LoxwoodJoust

Took my #Jedi griffin, Qesnel, out to the #FestivalOfTheForce at the Kent Events Centre today. Smallish event (perhaps? Not sure on event sizes in the UK yet), but was good to bring him out. Met and talked with a couple of people; Tim Rose and Ailsa Berk. #Fursuit #Cosplay

Achievement unlocked! Athra the Khajiit at an actual Elder Scrolls event. There literally is no attendee here who does not know he’s a Khajiit. Definitely a “bucket list” item I’ve crossed off there. #ESOTavern #Khajiit #TESOnline #ElderScrolls #Cosplay

My other, maybe more safer option, is to disembark the ICE at Kassel at rent a car there for the weekend, and pick up the return ICE train there after I return the car (since I’d be picking up the ICE there anyway) Uh… complicated!!! 3/3

Just booked trains for my upcoming Germany trip (July 10-12). Will be first time back there since EF19 in 2013. This will be a weird one, since I won’t know ANYONE where I’m going, and the only reason I’m going is to bring my Khajiit, Athra, to an Elder Scrolls live event. Kinda scary.

Just sorted out tickets to the ESO Tavern in Germany (July 10-12). That makes a whopping total of NINE costume related shenanigan events this summer for me; 8 of which will be Khajiiting. And there I was worried I’d not find such events to do in the UK. Turns out I’ve found more here.

This fox and I had a “moment” this morning. Pulled up a blind in my room, where the window was open, and he looked up right at me from his seed munching. I said, “oh, hello there” and he went right back to munching.

… in a hospital bed. Well, right now just a trolley, and not even in a ward or bay. Not exactly “corridor care” but as good as. Hoping we can get him to a room soon, even if it means paying for one through private.

Huh… looks like I might be able to swing going to the ESO Tavern event in July after all. Khajiiting in a place where Athra might be one of the best looking Khajiits there? Heck, yah.

Tickets for the ESO Tavern (Germany, July 10-12) just went on sale today. www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-gb/ne… This one really wants to go! Would like to go for one of the castle rooms, but would be easier to get if I had someone to go with. Anyone in UK/EU/(NA?) up for that?

001 1

Kootenay @kootenay.fursuits.online.ap.brid.gy · 22/04/2026

TIL is that Jousting events are kind of popular here in the UK. I already know that the one nearest me (in August) is costume-friendly, and I’m just seeing if a couple of others that are happening in the early May Bank Holiday are too. Because if so… Khajiiting may occur…
