You are a brand. You are not quirky. You are not innocent. You have blood on your hands somewhere along your production chain. You are cold. You are evil. A wolf in sheep's clothing.

As a reminder, as long as you've subscribed for August, you *will* receive this month's KoFi reward, despite it being mailed out next month due to my out of state trip. And of course, I'm doing unique rewards each month so next month will be something equally awesome. #mtg #tcg #gundam #kofi

Alright #gundam nerds. I leave the state Friday. If you want the Shorikai + Pilot Token this month, sign up TODAY. Otherwise, any new August subscribers after today will NOT receive their rewards until LATE NEXT MONTH. Eitherway this is August's KoFi reward. The Shorikai is this month only.

Turns out they actually did make this a Pilot card back in the original TCG but wow its hard to find good quality images of a 20 year old discontinued card game

I don't care if they're paying $100/hr. These "job opportunities" to train AI on free open source software can go fuck itself. I won't stoop so low to train AI on the last bastion of software that hasn't been infected by this bullshit Anyways who wants to hire me, a non-AI-user graphic designer?

They're here! Annnnd I realize I may have too many. I only have 3 KoFi subscribers this month. What to do with the rest of them... Will be putting together the bundle with these and each of my treasure tokens this week to mail out! #mtg #tcg #kofi

I have yet to explore methods of translating my designs onto actual cards, as to qualify as a legal alter, but for now, here are my designs in what I call "digital alters" (An exploration of alternative printings, really) I hope perhaps one day I could help design cards for a TCG.

Smothering Tithe card in an Art Deco style

Shorikai, Genesis Engine card in the style of Gundam

Tiamat card in the style of Final Fantasy user interface

Approach of the Second Sun card in the style of Outrun/Retrowave

New book to level up my cooking. Kicking premade spice blends to the curb. I have a cabinet full of spices but have always just "winged it" but today that changes. Next, grow dry and grind my own herbs.

Playing older games because 1) There's still so much to do, why jump on a new game? 2) No mtx, no battle pass, no gacha 3) The studio has been around as long as I've been alive, so it's certain they won't get shut down tomorrow so the CEO can buy another yacht #gw1

Ok so I found and unpacked the rest of my print and cutting equipment, so as part of this month's bundle, I'm going to print up a set of Art Deco treasure tokens, in foil, and include them. This way, my subscribers receiving this alter can enjoy matching treasure tokens!

Why am I so adamantly against AI in video game development, even as "just a placeholder"? Because you can't publish video game art books that will go on to inspire generations of young developers and artists with prompt slop.

A box full of video game concept art books for various large video game franchises.

You can VISIBLY see this in anything AI produces, even if it's "looking its best" At surface level, this image looks good. But every single detail - the posters, the text, the graffiti, has had EVERY human element sucked dry from it and turned into slop, gibberish, NOTHINGNESS

Billion $ AAA studio after releasing a $180 game: "Sorry, we just can't stay afloat. Our studio will close for good so our CEO can buy another yacht." Indie studio with passion in some foreign country: "Here is our game. It cost $30. It's still in alpha and sold a million copies. I hope you enjoy"
