Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 22/04/2025The idea behind Rorschach is so fascinating. A man that represents a test, a test about how humanity imposes the crisis of their own lives. How we create our own meaning, and our own suffering. A man that sees via the black and white, and only by the darkness inside of society. 051
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 20/04/2025Rorschach is so broke that everytime he breaks into someone's house he eats their food. Funny as hell 040
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 12/04/2025It's such a huge flex to have a mural of several characters you literally created throughout the years. This gotta be one of my lifelong dreams, it's so cool 030
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 07/04/2025Just bought Last Ronin: the lost years because it was on a sale. Please, if you've read the original, read this book because it's way better (I gotta admit the turtles look really rough but the story makes it worth it) 040
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 06/04/2025I really dig the heavy monologues that Marcus has in the book. Reminds me of Brubaker's writing style in Kill or Be Killed 020
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 19/03/2025I'm very hopeful for the future of Absolute Batman. Finally feel like the narrative is starting to pick up 040
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 16/03/2025"The King in Black may devour my light yet...but he will choke on it." 020
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 15/03/2025One of my biggest complaints with the X-men once again proves to be true. It's insane how many times they hook up with each other in the same run and for practically sexual instinct alone. This is the third guy Braddock kisses and Logan's second woman in the same run 💀 121
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 15/03/2025This is the definitive TMNT trio. My poor son will always be the loner 020
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 14/03/2025It hurts to think that if the previous Venom run actually did cool stuff with his comic status quo we could've gotten Eddie in Imperial 💔 020
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 10/03/2025I don't know why, but Chris Bachalo, James Harren, and DWJ all give off similar vibes to me even though their artstyles are significantly different. Love these guys 061
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 02/03/2025"What would you give for your art, David?" "I'd give my life." 020
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 28/02/2025#TMNT 7 Is so good man I'm starting to love this run 2131
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 26/02/2025What is a life changing comic book? One that changes you forever to the point were you're not the same person you were before you read it? 340
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 22/02/2025Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman Batman Or Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo Venom 240
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 21/02/2025To me this is a sign that what Ed has been saying ever since before MK1's reveal could be more than a fantasy. We might be closer than ever to this game 140
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 17/02/2025I lowkey judge my first impression of Indie superheroes based on their character design. If the characters (especially the mc) looks extremely unappealing or just a boring knock-off of a previous character, there's a high chance I won't read the book 140
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 16/02/2025I like how, immediately after Denji chooses to be once again ignorant through the decision of avoiding his emotions, he's rewarded by losing the only family he had left and was ready to abandon 030
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 14/02/2025it's kinda crazy that Iron Man is probably the 4th character I own the most merch of, I've literally not read more than 10 Iron Man comics still 💀 130
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 09/02/2025It's crazy that, no matter how stacked a week is, we will always pick Transformers over the rest 180
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 05/02/2025I'm starting a Batman collection without having read any Batman yet LMFAO. I bought these three books 140
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 01/02/2025League of comic geeks has to overhaul their "Activity" Tab. It's extremely impractical since you can only scroll down to see the days and it's useless. We can't even log "rereads" in it for the sake of it. They need to copy Letterbox's Diary and revamp this tab 140
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 31/01/2025bleedingcool.com/comics/idw-r... well it's not a real TMNT continuity if it doesn't get abandoned before being finished so at least they might keep up the tradition 😵💫bleedingcool.comIDW Report: Diamond Bankruptcy Leaves "Substantial Doubt" For FutureThe auditor section of IDW's annual report expresses "substantial doubt" about its "ability to continue as a going concern" in wake of Diamond Bankruptcy. 120
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 31/01/2025Someone needs to make a straight outta latveria-style youtube channel, but with Clark Kent reporting on news related to Comic Book projects. I have no name ideas yet 050
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 30/01/2025#TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles #6 was REALLY GOOD. The way Aaron portrayed the dynamic between the brothers was fantastic. The monologue Splinter had in the introduction and finale was a really nice touch, and I really like the desperate and dire state the Turtles are in. (+) 120
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 29/01/2025Some very cool pages in the new fist of Khonshu issue 1204
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 26/01/2025I'd be lying if I said the "Finale" of cerebus was not incredible, EVEN with the baggage. Those last 3 issues were fantastic. However, I will probably not say the same for the "epilogue" 050
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 25/01/2025Aaa can't wait for when i finish Cerebus and I can read more lemire and remender indies then do a hellboy read-through and then reach Batman (hopefully) before may 060
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 24/01/2025It would've been interesting (albeit probably controversial) if the second half of Cerebus tried to give him a redemption arc. Where he denied his destiny of redeeming the church of Tarim and neglected the idea of a selective salvation in favor of breaking the cycle of ascension 111
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 24/01/2025Cerebus is starting to really delve deep into the weird gender rhetorics. In less than 20 issues from now it's going to get AWFUL according to the internet 020
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 22/01/2025Harry would be a decent Ultimate Venom. The fact that everyone arounds him always compares his abilities with Peter, and how he will never leave a legacy as impactful as him, could make for a compelling drama that makes him want to become the "Better Spider-Man". 4160
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 18/01/2025It's truly a marvel how Cerebus kept improving as a comic in both of its fronts, as both its storytelling and artwork continuously evolve into a more rich narrative. Unfortunately Dave sim is a creep who's work didn't even suffer from the "Death of the author" phenomenon 150
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 14/01/2025I don't think I have ever seen the echo effect be as well done in a comic as Cerebus. This has to be one of the most creative moments in the book as of now. Also (+) 130
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 13/01/2025From what I'm seeing, it seems like the best way to start reading DC characters and feel fulfilled with your knowledge about their roots is via these collections. It's practically impossible to do a "read-through" of DC heroes, unlike 90% of Marvel characters. 140
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 11/01/2025This is like a parody of two covers at the same time 040
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 10/01/2025It's noticeable how much Sim improved with only 4 years of releasing Cerebus. The quality difference is jarring when you look back 030
Knight @kombatknight.bsky.social · 09/01/2025This has to be one of the funniest comic moments ever it caught me so off guard lmao. (From Cerebus #24) 020
