I'm a little over this whole business of "Ambient noise". Why do things just make noise all the time? Frankly it's just rude. If I made a constant hiss all day I would be asked to quiet down or leave the premises, so why does my HVAC system get a pass?

The upstairs neighbours' washer leaked and so I had to call in some repair guys to check for water damage, and so far they have all avoided commenting on the 5 foot tall elephant in the room: The giant cabinet in the living room where I keep my Muppet replicas

A bad photo of an black ikea cabinet, holding several home-made Muppet replicas (Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Kermit, and Robin).

Was trying to figure out why seeing Castle Town immediately after leaving Kokiri forest made me chuckle, so I checked and in the original OOT your view is blocked by the terrain of Hyrule Field. So I think my brain went "Oh, yeah right it was just a block away from the forest this whole time"

A screenshot from the original Ocarina of Time game for N64. Link stands at the entrance to Hyrule field, seeing only a path and a large hill.

Today feels like a good day to finally share my latest Muppet replica: the Great Gonzo himself! I had some help with the creation of his outfit but Gonzo himself was made by me, with upholstery foam and hand-dyed fleece among other materials. I think he just might be my best replica to date.

Happy Birthday to @toughpigs.com! They are celebrating an incredible 25 years of existence today. I wanted to show my appreciation the only way I know how, by drawing Muppets. You be the judge whether Kermit actually forgot Piggy was in the cake, or if he just saw an opportunity he couldn't pass up

An illustration showing Kermit the Frog cutting into a large, two tier cake. The cake has been decorated with "Happy 25th Birthday Tough Pigs". Miss Piggy, who had been hiding inside the cake, looks down angrily at Kermit, her dress having been cut by the knife. Kermit says "Whoops! Sorry Piggy, I forgot you were in there!"

This is turning into a week of crafting related foibles because I got startled by some extremely loud thunder and flung a pair of pliers that were sitting on my lap straight into the void. I heard the sound of them hitting the floor, but alas they have seemingly fallen out of existence.

Got to help wrangle some ducklings who were struggling to cross a road today, poor little things couldn't get over the median. Took four adult humans to wrangle them (with one making sure traffic was stopped), but we got everyone reunited with Momma Duck who happily went off to swim in a nearby pond

I couldn't let @toughpigs.com Muppetational May go by without contributing at least one illustration, and of course I'm not gonna turn down an opportunity to draw Miss Piggy. I also had a hankering to draw her in the vintage Barbie illustration style, really happy with how the effect turned out!

A drawing of Miss Piggy in the style of vintage Barbie illustrations, referencing the pose and appearance of the "Beauty Secrets" Barbie from 1979. Miss Piggy is seated, wearing pink satin undergarments, holding a powderpuff in one hand. She is looking towards the camera and smiling, the words "Piggy" in the vintage Barbie font are shown in the bottom left corner. Drawn by KOMakesThings, with a dot filter applied to resemble the appearance of old colour prints.

It's finally Piggy's week to shine! Actually scratch that, she shines every week. It's just finally time she gets the spotlight in the Muppets 70th celebration. I prepped this drawing ages ago because Piggy's the one week I knew I really didn't wanna miss! #TheMuppets70 #TheMuppets #MissPiggy

A drawing of Miss Piggy inspired by the artist "Mucha". Miss Piggy is dressed in flowing pink and cream robes, sitting in a field of pink flowers. She has purple gloves on, and she is posed with her hands gently running through her own hair. Piggy's hair is in a partial up-do, with pink flowers in her hair. She is looking forward with a dreamy expression on her face.
