The fiercely anti-LGBTQ messaging of Texas PAC is really something.

This might be the single worst James Talarico clip out there - and that's saying something.

On the floor of the Texas Legislature, he called parents who refused to trans their kids abusive.

"I think there are some folks that would think that if you deny your child's gender identity that that's incredibly harmful. And whether or not we can label it with the term abuse, I mean, it's abusive for sure."

It's shocking, and you need to watch the whole clip to understand how his ideology could tear your family apart.

Someone added my number to the Texas PAC Anti-Talarico mailer list and I've been getting these wild propaganda texts. "If he wins, Texas won't just turn blue - it will go 🏳️‍🌈" is certainly saying a lot about that audience they think this messaging is for.

NEW: DHS's Inspector General releases a scathing report about the Everglades detention camp known as "Alligator Alcatraz." The OIG finds that the now-closed camp, violated multiple ICE standards. The OIG also confirms detainees were punished with placement in a metal cage in the Florida heat.🧵

Underneath is a picture of a metal cage that is 4 feet 3 inches wide by 4 feet 3 inches long, and 7 feet 9 inches high. The cage itself is placed on a tiny spot of fake turf, and then surrounded by another chainlink fence with razor wire on top. The cage is covered by a roof, but it's entirely exposed to the outside otherwise, meaning mosquitos and no air conditioning.

I chatted with @theworld.org about our investigation into LeakedBB and how we identified a suspected owner of the website, a crypto CEO in New Zealand. The forum site used NCII as currency and advocated for hacking and theft of nudes from women around the world.

Going to this company's page, they say they prohibit NCII, but there's no mechanism to know if the image a user is sexualizing is of a real person or not. And the account advertising this website even promoted it in r/AIGenNSFW channel, inticing ppl who are "tired of AI image Censorship"

On my work account, I have been getting this AI NSFW generator's Ads for months. I feel like any service that advertises like this on Reddit is CLEARLY implying they will generate NSFW and Non-consensual content.

The second-largest city in Washington, Spokane, is currently on fire. Fires broke out over the weekend, leading to the Level 3 evacuation of thousands of people. Homes have been lost. These fires are still ongoing.
