All of Trump’s shills are celebrating the trade war delay as a win because Mexico is sending 10,000 Mexican troops to the border to help prevent drug trafficking. Mexico sent 15,000 troops to the border in 2019 and it didn’t solve the problem. MAGA doesn’t have real solutions.

Allowing a "vendor" (Musk) to have access to your "accounts payable" systems (the Treasury) flies in the face of every audit principle having to do with segregation of duties, internal controls, and data security. This wouldn't fly at any publicly traded company and would never pass an audit.

Reagan slashed the budget of the Solar Energy Research Institute, which is now the National Renewable Energy Lab, from $130M in 1980 under Carter to $30M in one year. This was bad for the US, then the leader in solar research, and bad for climate change. It was good for fossil fuel companies.
