Good morning and Solstice: a Koga rant.
So as you know, my health is shit. Recently I am going on a diet suggested by the doctor to prevent it from cratering too fast, and all those exercises that are incredibly draining (Sorry that I haven't been able to stream as much as a result)
You know what's the worst part about watching your sodium intake?
Wines are taxed very high in Canada.
Because of that, cooking styles in many part of the world that use wines have to compromise and... add salt to their wine to make it cooking wine. The difference is massive - a 10 dollar bottle versus a 2.50 dollar buttle, basically.
And like, that's bad. That's more sodium in your diet that you don't want just because nobody want to pay alcohol taxs for what's essentially a kitchen tool. Who the fuck drinks Shaoxing or rice wine straight from the kitchen bottle? Savages, I tell ya.
And you know what's also salted? Fish. Sounds insane, right?
Most of the frozen fish, even freshwater ones, that are vaccum packed often have salt water injections to keep them. If you look at basa filet and you see 500+ mg of sodium, that ain't the freshwater basa fish's fault, it's the salt water.
All of these are because of... Capitalism, ho.
Capitalism is literally killing us all by making us eat extra ~1k sodium per meal because of like, economy of transport and taxes.

Little magics, like a small prayer or ritual at start of travel, or a daily maintenance for the wagon wheels that realistically does nothing but is performed with a sincere belief, etc., they are really a beautiful part of a fantasy world - especially when they work. It's kind of... Frieren-coded.

Because BOY do I have job opportunity for you! 🙂

Occasionally you might have some weird nerd that hacked into your body taking control of you for a couple hours here and there, but don't worry about it; Your body is mostly a rental from the company anyways, and you still have another 50 years to go before you can pay it off. You can't afford to care. Caring costs money.

The best thing about ADHD thus far, objectively, is the knowledge of the "Crisis mode toggle". Turns out dealing with crisis is one thing that ADHD brain is somehow good at, and knowing that helps a ton with the crisis itself. The cortisol spike + adrenaline crash is a bitch to deal with, though.
