this game's combat is so speedy and messy, genuinely just Fun, it rarely feels like a chore it being so fast enhances my enjoyment of this game enormously because i can get so much more done in less time and the fights are so so much more interactive and engaging and the fashion is so good <w<

i think i just put nice-sounding syllables together and then give them a spelling that looks pretty, sometimes there's word associations, but no strict meanings. most of my names are very vibes based corresponding to how i imagine my critters' personalities

my team so far is Mori (Arbok), Sven (Ariados), Reminn (Scolipede), Mnemi (Haunter) on rotation are: Ari (Ampharos), Lune (Absol), Cio (Totodile) and Ixby (Bunnelby) i'm trying to have as much poison as possible so i will find one or two more permanent party members at some point

i booted it up and talked to him like 30 times as usual and got him a haircut as usual. went to mt. silver. i took most of my new team + my old typh. both typhs leveled up once on the way up i fought red until i got him w/out any of my babies fainting, set battle style, 3 full restores, no revives

i transferred my pokemon over to my new save, and occasionally played a bit to get my typh back to full friendship. it resets when you trade, even though it's from me to me it's fitting in retrospect, it felt kinda like catching up. when i opened the game yesterday i was one stage away from max

last night i went back to my soulsilver save and finally beat red with both my original typh from my 15 yr old cartridge and the one from my new cartridge i got a few years after i lost the first (found it again years later) i put it off for over a decade and i have a lot of feelings about it now
