Therefore I'm really glad you're still thinking of those options outside of JS like liveview and include them in your musings. Also live experiments like your frame-streams, which intentionally work as low level building blocks, which could be used to maybe work out non-js server side options.

I'm very fond of solids approach to setting up UI and I can see how you likely cannot get away without js on the server to get server rendered html. But I'd also not ready do switch to server side js for all the pieces the server does beyond rendering html. There's good reasons I switched to elixir.

This was another awesome talk. I love the experimentation beyond the technical level. The "tracking what one has done" reminded me so much of timingapp.com?lang=en, which does something like that even just for the specific usecase of tracking paid/unpaid work.

I retired bobs-list.kobrakai.de today. Hex Bob has its own dashboard now at bob.hex.pm and elixir builds are even done by elixirs own CI anyways. The times of an elixir release without asdf/mise resources ready have been gone for a while. Erlang and docker builds however are still done by bob.

Yeah, that's a level of AI use I'm thankfully not forced to do. I might do that to research something, but not to build something I'm responsible for it working well.

If any working solution is all you care for that might work. Personally I never got satisfied by what LLMs do on their own. Whenever I look at the code the LLM produced it's verbose and non-optimal with lots of places to improve the code. I use those refactoring to get to know the code better.

I'm curious how you got there. I tried it shortly a few weeks back, but I've always used a gui for git, so didn't really get very far with jj. I feel like I'd need to develop a stronger understanding of it before I could use in productively.

It's also wrong in claiming that NimbleCSV doesn't support arbitary chunked streams. It does do so, just needs users to call `to_line_stream/1` explicitly before calling `parse_stream` - to not incur the cost for already line segmented streams.
